This is an excellent hotel. The rooms, staff and amenities are all First Rate. And the view from our room overlooking the Zoo was unbelievable. Who wakes up with Kangaroos running around just outside their window? Our only caution is it is a bit remote, far from public transit and walking through the pitch black Tiergarten at night is not an option.

You cannot find a bigger or nicer room than this. Just a spectacular room. The hotel is beautiful. The only complaint is with regards to the water temperature (too hot) both at the sinks and the shower.

It felt like a tranquil oasis in a hectic city, with the location next to the zoo and park. The hotel is the perfect combination of modern and historical. The decor is elegant and chic, with an animal theme and modern furnishings. The views are spectacular.
