Holiday home with garden

Located in Villefranche-du-Périgord, this pet-friendly holiday home has 4 bedrooms and hosts upto 9 people. Featuring a terrace and barbecue for spending relaxed days, it is ideal for a group of 9 or families with children to occupy.

The region is a walled village of 13th century and is surrounded by forests. There are many swimming lakes in Prats-du-Périgord at 12 km, Cazals at 8 km and Frayssinet at 10 km. A short drive will take you to Monpazier at 26 km, Villeréal at 40 km and Cahors at 42 km. You can find a tennis court, swimming pool, restaurants and supermarket at 7 km.

The interiors are cosy with the heating. You can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and lounge in the living-dining room. Have fun with table tennis in the evening. A barbecue meal outdoors is also a wonderful idea. The terrace and furnished garden gives a lovely spot to relax. There is a cot and high chair for kids and provision to bring 2 pets.

De plus on réclame des frais supplémentaires qui ne sont pas prévus : Payer l'électricité : un forfait de 60kw/h est prévu mais cela ne permet pas d'utiliser les commodités prévues : Il faut donc payer alors que cela n'apparait nul part avant d'arriver sur place. Payer également les taxes touristiques. Aucun état des lieux n'est effectué si ce n'est le relevé du compteur sur un carnet de notes. Nous avions demandé la location de draps mais à notre arrivée cela n'avait pas été pris en compte. De plus le départ doit être fait à 10 heures maximum mais personne n'est venu pour la restitution des clés. Vraiment très décevant ! Fortement déconseillé. Nous avons signalé ceci à Belvilla mais aucun retour.

Goede aankomst, vriendelijke eigenaar. Zeer rustige omgeving , voor ons iets te rustig. Huis ligt ver in een bos. Ideaal als je van een rustige vakantie houdt. Kleine dorpjes in de buurt maar s'avonds niks te doen . Voor een terrasje s'avonds of een groot warenhuis moet je toch al gauw 30 tot 45 min rijden. Leuk zwemmeer in Cazals.

Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren bij ontvangst en vertrek. Ondanks mijn zeer gebrekkige kennis van de Franse taal werd zeker de moeite genomen om alles goed uit te leggen. Het huis ligt bijzonder vrij en is aangenaam. Prima interieur en een prachtig weids uitzicht. Bij kouder weer biedt de open haard (mag in Frankrijk gelukkig nog!) gezellige warmte.

Villefranche-du-Périgord is voor ons een bekende omgeving, wij komen hier erg graag. De omgeving is schitterend, heel veel variatie in het groen. In het dorpje zijn alle dagelijkse boodschappen te verkrijgen. In Fumel zijn verschillende grote supermarchés waaronder LeClerc. We hebben al meerdere malen gîtes gehuurd van deze eigenaar. Dit huis is onze favoriet, alle privacy die je je kunt wensen, middenin de bossen zonder directe buren. Je moet wel van rust en stilte houden.
