One of the worse vacations

Communication with us and Vacasa was very bad. Had to get a parking violation to be informed we needed a parking pass. Had to purchase passes to be on resort for 30.00 and was only told about them yesterday and we left today. Wasn't told where the pools were. Thought the pool was in our own building. Very disappointed. Thank you Tammy

Loved the view and quiet. Extremely close to the beach. Walking distance to almost everything. Living room furniture needs updated. Amenities are geared to tennis. All classes filled up quickly. Need either more or larger classes.

Time to relax and enjoy Pool Beach Repeat

This is the second time we have stayed at Sea Colony and the view was amazing. The condo was clean and comfortable. The kids had so much fun and my husband and I were able to relax. It was exactly what we needed.

What a great time!

We saw dolphins! From the unit no less! That’s how awesome this unit is! Please communicate with vacasa or you might have trouble if you arrive after hours and you don’t know the code to get in your unit. Other than that- you have access to an off site gym with a pool and hot tub. And you access to 11 other awesome pools! This is a no brainer- we had a great time!!! Great food around and a nice boardwalk. Near to other boardwalks also!

Great views / proximity

Bethany Beach makes for a quaint getaway. You can walk up the beach to the boardwalk in less than 20 mins. IMPORTANT NOTE; Due to COVID accommodations, you need to go online and make a reservation to use the off-site Sea Colony fitness center (which is a great benefit, but be prepared to plan it out).

Great getaway

Spent 4 days at this property and it was very nice. The views were exactly as advertised. It is not right up against the beach, it is a angled view and sits back some, but still beautiful view. The property is very well maintained, nice landscape and easy beach access. Only thing that was not ideal was in the linen package they include items such as toilet paper and paper towels which was very minimal. We actually ran out. Would encourage people to be prepared for this

Defective smoke detector

Everything was nice except a defective smoke alarm that alarmed all day Wednesday. Property manager would come & fix it. Then it would go off again. This happened 5 times. We could never trust that it wasn’t going to go off again. Caused us unnecessary anxiety!

Great ocean views and well outfitted

This unit was really well outfitted—kitchen tools and dishes for cooking, enough hooks in bathrooms, flashlight in the closet, etc. Those things make a real difference! The view of ocean is great. Our only issue is that the carpets were very dirty and we all had to wear socks while inside to keep feet from turning black. Management said they’d clean carpets. We’d stay here again

The condo was very comfortable except for the bed.

We liked the condo very much. It is perfect for a couple without children. Our daughter and son-in-law and their 2 children stayed in a 3 bedroom condo so we got to have our own place to sleep. The only problem was the bed. It was too soft, it needs to be firmer for our taste. The kitchen was well equipped but we didn't eat in except for breakfast. It had a lovely view and was very quiet. No slamming doors that would wake us up in the morning or late at night. If you get a firmer bed, we would consider renting it again.

Love Sea Colony!!! So much to see and do in Bethany Beach

We had a great experience while we were at Sea Colony. Our rental was roomy and clean for the 4 of us. The pools and beach was fantastic. Bethany Beach has some great restaurants. We did have a mix up with our linen service. But staff was very quick to resolve. Very grateful for helping late on Saturday night. We look forward to vacationing there again real soon.
