Really great value!

This "room" was so much more than I expected. Pros: the bedroom was quite large, the living/sitting room was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-appointed. Lovely balcony. Two "bathroom" sinks/vanities: one in the bedroom, one in the bathroom. Two TVs: dining/sitting room area and bedroom. Everything was very clean. Cons: the comfort of the queen bed was okay but not great. The water pressure in the shower was weak to moderate. Some of the fixtures were pretty old: the faucet in the shower and the swing-arm lamp by the bed. The upholstery on the easy chair and cushions seemed dingy. We were there for 3 days, and room cleaning only happened on appointed days unless requested. I guess I didn't read that part, so that was on me, but there was no room cleaning or replenishment of coffee/supplies/towels while we were there. There was a gas fireplace, but it either wasn't working or we couldn't get it to work. Note: best to use exterior parking areas because of the swallows. They're beautiful, but will poop a lot on your car. Also, be nosy. Lots of useful things in the cupboards. Overall impression: Now that I know what to expect, I'm prepared for next time. I'll definitely come again. It really was a great value for what we paid for it, which was in the spring before Memorial Day. I don't know if they adjust prices for the time of year, but inbetween seasons is a great value! PS. I have great photos, but the "Add a Photo" button isn't working.

I had contacted the Lodge twice to make sure a handicap room was available with Lake view and access to elevator and was guaranteed it would be. When we arrived, no communication between front desk staff members. The room that was available was dirty and had to be cleaned. We waited over 3.5 hours to find two of the maids in there sitting on the chair and one laying on the bed with both tvs on as they watched their telenovela and were chit chatting. Dead bugs were found in the drawers and on a towel, place was still dusty and dirty, toilet didn’t work nor did sink as they were both plugged. Shower had hairs in it. Went to front desk again who were very rude, busy gossiping, and sighed multiple times as if we were bothering them. Put us in the third room in which was supposed to be our reservation from the beginning, mind you we had waited for it for over 5 hours, no one had eaten and they knowing I was with someone who is medically disabled, and finally given a room. I wouldn’t suggest this Lodge to anyone else as there are better ones that are cleaner and take better care of its patrons in the area and on the Lake.

Nice and quiet for weekend getaway. Near big bear lake. Unfortunately could not go for lake cruise due to bad weather. Perhaps next time. Service was really quick if there is any issues in room.

Need better furniture

I left a day early did not stay a second night the bed did not even sleep in the room bed mattress was to hard and I slept on the couch that was even more uncomfortable I was not happy with the furniture so I check out very early I stay one night only and I paid for 2 nights stay and the staff at the hotel when I was checking out early we’re not to helpful with me one of them did not acknowledge me turn her back on me did not even greet me to ask me if I needed help I am glad I left that place the other staff was fixing the coffee and she stop to help me at desk to check while the other staff did not even say hello to me I think that is not nice to treat people like that l left hotel at 4:50 pm I could not stay their another night ! The beds are not comfortable I do not recommend if you have back injuries they need to upgrade on the beds also the furniture couches

I rented a condo thinking was lake view but I guess was just the name of building that it wasn’t mentioned anywhere and not even on the building. Very misleading and dishonest
