Winter storm came. Police and fire company said we had to turn around and not continue up the hill to hotel, after 3 road blocks warning people not to continue. Trucks with chains on them were off the road and dozens of cars were on each side of road with people not knowing what yo do socthey just pulled over. It was terrible. This hotel not only didnt care, they then took their phone off the hook for the rest of the day and havnt returned any calls from expedia about a refund yet 2 weeks later... that really sucks to put people lives in danger or they dont get a refund? Not cool.

We stayed at Lagonita with our boys, ages 8 and 11. We stayed in the one bedroom with the pull out couch. We should have gotten the 2 bedroom because the couch was very uncomfortable. They offer movies and games to rent which is nice. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel is right on the lake. The hotel is older and not upgraded but it is very clean. Housekeeping does a great job! There’s no air conditioning so it might be really hot in the summer. The kitchen has minimal amenities but works out just fine. The kids pool was cold and not heated but my kids still swam in it for a while. Overall it’s a basic hotel. For those on a budget you get a lot for your money. It’s a good hotel to stay in with kids. If you are looking for something upscale this won’t be it.

Perfect location for a fun getaway with the family. The 2 br condo was spacious and had everything we needed. Lots of activities for kids and adults. Great shoreline for fishing.

Lagonita Lodge is a funky, log cabin feeling condo complex....the property is older, but our unit and the property is kept VERY clean and the staff was very friendly, professional and helpful!! We were right on the lake, and the view from our huge sliding glass door in the living room was spectacular!! I would stay there again because even though it is an older property, the staff was wonderful and they do an excellent job of keeping everything clean!! And I am in the property management industry....so I know what it takes to keep an older property looking fresh....they are doing a wonderful job!

The value is excellent. Great price for a big space right on the beautiful lake and an easy drive to go skiing. Pool, hot tub, rec room, outdoor grills.. all the makings for a great family/group stay.
