Welcome to Arrowhead Chalet 1652, your mountain retreat in the heart of Big Sky’s Mountain Village. This private end-unit chalet combines an incredible location with spectacular mountain views, true alpine charm, and your own private outdoor hot tub tucked among the pines.
With 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, there’s plenty of space for your group to relax and unwind. Step outside and you’ll find ski trails right in front of the chalet, offering convenient ski-in/ski-out access when snow conditions allow.
One of the best parts of staying at Arrowhead is the location. You’re within walking distance of Big Sky Mountain Village, where you’ll find restaurants, après-ski, shopping, and resort activities. The Arrowhead Mall is right next door and is home to Christy Sports for ski rentals and gear, along with two restaurant/bars.
SKI-IN / SKI-OUT
Ski Out:
Take the ski trail in front of the chalet past the back of the Arrowhead Mall and ski down to the Mountain Village base area, where you can access the Ramcharger and Swift Current lifts.
Ski In:
Return via the Silver Knife run behind the chalet. Please note that Silver Knife is a double-blue run and becomes steeper near the end. For an easier option, ski to the Mountain Village base area and walk back to the Arrowhead Chalets.
Ski-in/ski-out access is available when snow conditions allow. Because snowfall and weather vary throughout the season, access is dependent on adequate natural snow coverage.
SUMMER IN BIG SKY
Big Sky is just as special in the summer. Spend your days hiking mountain trails, enjoying scenic lift rides, exploring waterfalls, or simply taking in the fresh Montana air. Yellowstone National Park is approximately an hour away, making it an unforgettable day-trip adventure.
After a day of exploring, return to your chalet and prepare dinner in the fully equipped kitchen, then step outside for a soak in your private hot tub surrounded by pine trees and mountain views. As an end unit, Chalet 1652 offers additional privacy and views that seem to go on forever.
PARKING
The chalet includes one designated private garage space for one vehicle. Parking at Arrowhead is very limited, and only one vehicle is permitted for this property.
The chalets are located above street level on the mountainside and cannot be accessed directly by vehicle. If your group will have more than one vehicle, we strongly recommend arranging an airport shuttle.
GETTING TO YOUR CHALET
There are paved pathways leading up to the chalet; however, the uphill walk may be challenging for some guests, especially with luggage.
For easier access, use the elevator located on the first floor of the Arrowhead Mall next door. Take the elevator to the third floor, turn left when you exit, and continue through the back door of the building. This will bring you to the main trail leading to the chalets. From there, walk approximately 200 yards along the trail to Chalet 1652.
Come for the skiing, stay for the views, and end your days soaking under the Big Sky sky.
