A million stars

Location: Recommend Allo Canoes for a kayak in Brantome, the scenery is spectacular. Also recommend local taxi service fun by Christophe Nadal.
This is one of the *best* hotel experiences I've ever had. The chateau looks exactly like it does in photos: spectacular. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to help with anything. The meals are all out of this world - try the beef fillet! - and local wines are exceptional. Room was great & had everything, including a view onto the green rolling hills. Cannot rate this place highly enough.
