The Acorn is a really clean, safe motel with the most kind and professional owners/staff! Our whole stay was wonderful, from how comfy the beds are and how clean the room was, to how kind and helpful the owners were to accommodate us! Parking was easy and secure. Convenient location and close to my dad, retired vet, that I take to the VA for medical appointments when coming to do a wellness check on him. This has been my regular place to stay since I have been traveling here for work. The rooms have been recently refurbished and always clean. Black Mountain is a cool small mountain community town with nice shops and restaurants to visit. Asheville is only about 15 minutes away making it well worth it as a place to stay.
