It is located right in the centre of Blackheath, where all the cafes, restaurants and specialty stores are located. It also has a very charming old world feel. We really enjoyed it.

We had booked a room with a shared bathroom, and were delighted with the attention paid to cleanliness, renovation and maintenance. We were also amazed at how quiet it was, considering our room was facing the highway, and we didn't mind the train noise at all. We would have appreciated a microwave in the room, or access to one, but apart from that, it was great.

Room was clean . Had electric blankets that was a bonus. Pressure on shower was terrible. Bathroom fan was so noisy. Saturday night music didn’t stop till after 11 so if you’re planning on sleeping early forget it. The walls were thin so could hear it loud and clear.
