If booking through Expedia-beware of this place! Might look like a good price, but they charge an extra $100 for a deposit. I saw 7 other reviews claiming the same after I already booked and checked in. It felt suspicious and it took an enormous amount of effort for a receipt. A week later I still have not been reimbursed. They are running a scam on travelers!

I had a reservation for the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving and was hit with travel delays. I made a stop at Buc-ee’s and called this hotel after 11:30 at night and let the person know I was hit with travel delays and that I wouldn’t be there until after 1am. I was then told that they were already onto Thursdays business and that I wouldn’t be able to check in. I went to the Holiday Inn in Staunton VA and they were able to accommodate me with no problems and said that anytime a guest calls ahead of time on a late check in that they will check them in over the phone. I did purchase travel insurance for this trip so hopefully I’ll be getting a full refund.

Old and run down. For the amount of money I spent they really need to make some refurbishing. Bathrooms are old and icky. Carpet really needs to replaced. Beds were ok. Bedding was pretty cheap.

Staff was very nice - room was clean - but NOT the bathroom- a dog down the hall was barking incessantly - with that being said it wasn’t that bad considering all the other places that were way more expensive for a quick trip to see our boys at Virginia Tech- Would actually stay there again

Property layout and decor was just ok. Hallways look pretty dingey but rooms nicer thankfully. Breakfast and AM staff very accommodating. Easy parking and decent location, but still surprised how pricey it was for the quality of hotel (albeit it was Virginia Tech’s parents weekend/football game but still…)

Terrible experience. Front desk was rude and instead of helping with the problems they decided it was best for me and my husband to check out early. I was supposed to get a refund but instead they kept the money for the night we didn't stay. The room had a big spill in the carpet where our socks got instantly wet with a brown liquid, they do not answer the phone and leave customers waiting in the lobby for extended periods of time. I tried to add another night which is what led to me checking out early. I do not recommend this location at all they owe me like 80 dollars for the night I did not stay. I don't see me getting that back . Very very rude.
