I love staying at the Inn at Virginia Tech when I want to spend some time in Blacksburg. The Continental Divide bar has wonderful craft cocktails like Shrubbery Afoot. It has a light feel, perfect for summer. My room was cleaned and looking perfect every day that I stayed. I like the large parking area as well. I had a wonderful time.

The morning of check out the hotel lost power. I had taken a shower and was unable to dry my hair or get myself and my clothes ready for the multiple interviews that I had that day. The hotel did not have emergency lighting in the area that I was in and did not have a generator, or at least a working generator. No explanation or information was provided.

We were disappointed with the bathroom . The tub is slippery and there were no bars to hold on to. I had to shower while holding on the curtain bar with one hand . And get in and out very carefully . Do you offer rooms with showers instead of tubs ? These days do guests really prefer laying in a little tub of fast cooling water ? The facility was otherwise perfect . Herman Amelink R 210.
