Your choice to remain anonymous does not cover the fact that you didn't stay with us and therefore your review is invalid. You supplied a Debit card number which is not able to be used to secure your booking, in addition your desired check in time was outside our allowable time, yes it does say that later may be available by arrangement. Arrangement means that you phone and ask not take it as granted, In addition leaving threatening and abusive messages on our answering machine does not encourage me to go out of my way to help you. I hope you were able to find accommodation that suited your approach.

Dan, unfortunately we were always doomed to fail. Your booking was for the Signal Box although you wanted the Governors Carriage, a number of communications all via email followed, check in times were questioned even though they are clearly displayed on the website. On arrival your partner was aggressive continuously raising her voice and threatening to post videos on social media as she believed there had been a breakdown in communication. Given that communication was via email I do not see how this could be the case. A security system allows this encounter to be revisited demonstrating aggression which I do not need to tolerate thus a refund was immediately given to you before departure.

Thank you for your review, I am pleased you enjoyed your stay. Our policy has always been to respond to your booking once the credit card has been processed, we ask for an arrival time in order that we can have the heating on for your arrival and as the website says so as we can be there to let you in to your accommodation. Unfortunately your reply came several hours after we replied and allowed just enough time for me to get to the property before your arrival. The floor heating operates year round and I would have had the split system on for you had time allowed. Again thanks for your feedback.
