Lizzy has a cute little house that was adequate and close to where we needed to be each day. Unfortunately, the neighborHOOD is not in as good a condition as her house is. She can't control the cars revving and racing down the street, the poor dog tied out and crying nearby, or the person who decided to fire off a full clip on the street behind the house late on our second night. Lizzy was very helpful with the troublesome door locks (batteries) and answered our questions promptly. The house has a clothes dryer that is not listed in the ad, so laundry was easy to manage. The kitchen is well-appointed, but there is no coffee maker. The house has been renovated and painted throughout, but there is a significant persistent cigarette smoke smell permeating the walls that will be hard to overcome without more paint and odor control efforts. This is often a challenge in older homes formerly owned by smokers. Perhaps an ozone treatment will help improve this. Wall outlets are limited, but the nightstand lamp has a power receptacle on the back of the base for phone charging. TVs in each room are huge and use only Firesticks for content. WiFi was fine. Overall, the stay was priced accordingly and Lizzy is eager to make any improvements to better accommodate her guests.
