Friendly staff who helped as any problems arose. Moved room due to tv not woking. Was accommodating about our small dog. Conveniently located to this small coastal towns offerings.

Unfortunately the building is very old and the foundation is sinking, making the floors not level and leaving the beds going downhill. The tv didn’t work in the first room. Manager did what he could moving us t a room where the bed was a little bit more level and a working tv.

Although it is an alder motel it has a lot of appeal. Cute and quaint, but cold inside. Heater works but not thermostat controlled so it is either on or off. Staff was very nice. Did have some tv connectivity issues. I would stay there again.

Pleasant stay

We were there for an overnight stay to attend an event in bodega bay the next day. The staff was efficient and very friendly! Would stay there again and try to book room #16!

I love this adorable little place. We stayed for two nights. The staff was beyond friendly, helpful & attentive person, via email or the phone. These rooms are cute & quaint. It was very clean. It was quite cold when we arrived & took awhile to get the room heated up but once we did it was like taking a blanket from a nice warm dryer. The water NEVER goes cold here so the showers were good. Ok so here isthebad news....I'm pretty sure there was an animal(s) trying to make their way in or coming alive during the the night. Both nights, moreso the second than the first, my dog went nuts when there was a noise at the wall behind one of the nightstands. She was attempting to climb in underneath that & the bed to smell whatever was there. I moved the nightstand & she was right at the floorboard, where there was a small gap, all the way over to the outlet. Then she climbed under the hed to smell along the wall. When i mentioned this to the owner he said that there had been no other complaints but he had an exterminator out there regularly just to keep things good. He said one time a skunk had gotten under the building so he'd have them look in on it.

Great place to stay. Comfortable, Safe, Nice Staff. Close to all area attractions and walkable dining options. Great view of sunset over the bay from their nice gathering area (grass lawn with colorful adirondack chairs).
