Expansive ocean views along with privacy for this 2400 sf 3 bedroom 3 bath home

Our home has views of the Pacific Ocean, Doran Beach, Bodega Head, Inner Bodega Bay and the 10th hole the Trenton Jones Golf Course from most of the rooms. Located in South Bodega Harbor, this spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is a short walk to the beach and the club house. Once in the house, visitors will find a beautifully remodeled kitchen and bathrooms all on one level. Front deck has fantastic views of the bay. The back deck includes a hot tub and gas Weber BBQ. Margaret is an hotelier and loves hosting our guests.

The master bedroom has a California King while the second and third rooms have a queen bed each. Large flat screen TV in the living room and in the master bedroom.

Our kitchen has Wolf oven, cooktop and microwave and Subzero refrigerator. Additional, it is stocked with many kitchen aid mixer, Keurig, Nespresso and regular coffee maker.

The bathrooms are beautifully remodeled.

Our home is solar powered and has a Tesla charger.

This home is great for couples and families with a pack n play and kid toys!

Heron House is an excellent property. We have stayed there many times and have always enjoyed our stay. It is well-maintained, comfortable, roomy and in close proximity to the beach. The view is wonderful. The kitchen is very large and well stocked. Out a 1 - 10 scale, I give Heron House a 12!

This was hands-down the best VRBO experience we've had! The house was beautiful, tucked into a private neighborhood with incredible Pacific Ocean views, and a trail down to nearby Doran Beach for easy access to take walks on the beach. The homeowner thought of everything to make the house enjoyable, including multiple cupboards filled with board games and puzzles for all ages, a kitchen like no other (all of us were stunned at how completely stocked it was, with every dream utensil, Wolf appliances, and even a standing mixer for baking a cheesecake!), upgraded bathrooms loaded with beach and bath towels, and water views from almost every room. Because we stayed over Christmas, the owner bought a Christmas tree and very pretty bulbs to decorate. It made our holiday feel much more festive and made us feel right at home. My communications with the owner were helpful, and she was immediately available to advise, when power was very briefly lost in Bodega Bay during a windstorm. The house fortunately had a generator, so we were one of the only houses in the neighborhood whose lights stayed on during this outage -- a HUGE advantage during winter in Northern California!I absolutely want to return to this house in the future. Best VRBO experience among many over the years!

Margaret was a spectacular host. Very responsive each time we called. Made excellent recommendations as to local restaurants, etc. The house was the most well stocked Vrbo I have ever stayed in. Very nice view, very comfortable. Walking distance to the golf course and the beach.

The house has a welcoming feel. It’s very clean, fully equipped in kitchen and bathroom amenities with plenty of beach towels. Beautiful views while cooking and relaxing. We enjoyed our daily walks to the beach and around the neighborhood. It was nice to park in the garage. This is our second stay here and would definitely return.

This property is stunning, bright and well decorated and offers gorgeous views from every room. It felt peaceful and welcoming like a true home away from home. Everything was clean and tidy. One of our favorite VRBOs. Very clean and beautiful home. The ocean and golf course views are wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. 3 bathrooms - one for each room! All clean. Tons of towels. The hot tub was perfect temp and great to use. Easy to get to and very safe neighborhood. The host provided great instructions and was very easy to reach. Simply wonderful stay!

House was perfect. There were 3 couples, rooms perfect for each couple. The views were amazing. We came here for the Sonoma wineries and bodega bay views and we got both! The hot tub was warm and welcoming after a day at the winery. Beds comfy, and house very clean. Very important to me and the home did not disappoint. Host had a list of local eateries. Very helpful. We flew into SFO and drove up. Very beautiful drive. The rolling green hills and escape from the business was an additional plus. Got to enjoy the “play list”.We will be repeat guest again without a doubt.

Beautiful home, wonderful weekend!

We throughly enjoyed everything about our weekend in Bodega at this beautiful home! The kitchen is heavenly, the three separate bedrooms- each with their own bathroom space. The hot tub! The deck! The view! The fireplace!!!! Really though, the best part might have been the service and kindness shared from the homeowner. We use VRBO often and in Bodega, we tend to use the local property management company, but the service we got this weekend was the best we’ve ever had. She went out of her way for us and it set in motion the most memorable 50th birthday celebration!!! Thank you!!!

Excellence in Bodega

We have stayed in many places in Bodega Harbour. This is without a doubt my favorite. The house is spacious and comfortable, well equipped, has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, a great view of the ocean, and is a short walk to the beach.
