Pipistrelle is part of Langoose Holiday Cottages and one of 2 properties we offer for group bookings. A stunning and generously sized, pet-friendly boutique cottage offering luxury accommodation for 8 guests in four bedrooms. For larger groups there is also the possibility of hiring the adjoining cottage next door -also a group cottage sleeping six.

The property is simply charming and oozes character with its exposed beams and other period features. It is comfortable and well equipped providing reverse-living accommodation with a large attic space on first floor with open plan living, kitchen and dining facilities. A fabulous space for getting together with family and friends. Plenty of room for everyone!

There is also a double bedroom on the first floor with the other three double bedrooms downstairs (all the bedrooms have their own smart TVs )with two bathrooms (one with a shower and the other with roll top bath  and overhead electric shower.)

Outside there is a fully enclosed and generous sized garden with large dining patio, summerhouse, Stone barbecue/pizza oven with fresh herbs available for guests use. there is also a pet station so that Guest can clean down their dogs after a muddy walk!

The location is perfect and really does provide you with the best of both worlds for exploring coast and country. Positioned not far from a number of beautiful coastal towns and fabulous beaches, yet you have ancient woodlands, sprawling estate land (the property is minutes walk from Lanhydrock house and Gardens – National Trust - and the property in fact used to belong to the Lanhydrock Estate itself. ).

You really could not be better placed for enjoying a relaxing holiday tucked away yet near to the hustle and bustle and all amenities.

There are a number of supermarkets nearby, plus shops, pubs and restaurants. You are near to the Lostwithiel, known for its Riverside walks and antiques and you are also near the small villages of Lanivet and Lanlivery, each having a lovely country pub.

The property is a favourite for dog lovers wanting to bring their pets on holiday and it’s also a  perfect base for walkers, golfers and cyclists. There is a golf club literally minutes of the road and you are near to lots of walks and cycle trails. You are literally spoilt for choice!

We provide serviced accommodation and are happy to help with booking a restaurant, ordering shopping, arranging for flowers or assisting with special occasions. Whatever it is, don’t be afraid to ask. If we can help, we will!

Everyone loved the hot tub. The garden was the most secure for a dog that we've ever had. We did several walks around Lanhydrock. Lovy rooms and comfortable beds.

Daughters 30th Birthday weekend 13/09/24-16/09/24.

Wow!! Is the only word i can use for this property and the to the owner Debra. I booked this lovely weekend getaway for our daughters 30th birthday and we stayed in pipistrell house. Even before we stayed Debra was spot with communicating with us, if we had any questions then she would respond straight away. The actual stay was just perfect to host any celebration. We had a little concern with the hot tub and Debra and her fabulous team sorted this out within hours. Our stay in the property was just perfect. It hosted us all well, we was made to feel very comfortable, the property was spotless, the cleaners are amazing and attention to detail is just above and beyond anything we desired. All the rooms was beautiful. The two bathrooms was clean and you could tell that alot of money and attention to detail has been put in. Debra always kept in touch if we asked her anything, we was very grateful to her for allowing us into the property early so that i could arrange the balloons and banners around the property. The photos are true to form of how the property is and we will be booking more visits again very soon. These beautiful barns are well worth the money paid for our stay and Debra should be rewarded super host for her input on our stay. She honestly went above and beyond to make our stay special. Thank you Debra and to your team for making our daughters 30th birthday special. Youre little gifts and treats that you left made our stay a little special.

Beautiful Cornish cottage, photo's are true to the accommodation. Clean and furnished nicely. Beds and furniture were in good condition and were comfy, was a pleasure to come home and relax in. Needs a washing machine and dryer though. Also there was a bad smell of damp which I think was due to how much rain Cornwall has had over the last 2 months, but it didn't ruin our stay. During summer it probably wouldn't be noticable. Host was great and provided a beautiful welcome hamper.
