Seaplane transfers are carried out by Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) who provide the resort with confirmed flight schedules the evening prior to arrival/departure. Seaplanes are operational only in daylight hours. Shared seaplane transfers may be combined with guests from nearby resorts and may have possible stops en-route (one or multiple stops) before arriving at the resort. Seats for seaplane transfer for any reservation received later than 72 hours prior to the guest arrival are subject to availability. Reservation will only confirm the booking after getting the confirmation from TMA. Seaplane fares are subject to change in the event that new taxes are introduced or if a fuel surcharge is levied.
Seaplane departure timings are scheduled by TMA and are subject to change. For arrival: Seaplane transfers can be arranged for international flights arriving in Maldives between 6 AM and 3:30 PM. For departure: Seaplane transfers can be arranged for international flights departing Maldives from 9 AM onwards. Guests arriving or departing outside of these hours are advised to book a local hotel room in Male or a nearby island at their own cost. Seaplane transfer will be arranged for the next day and any payment made for the previous night will be charged as guarantee for early check-in. Additional (extra) seaplane transfer arrangements can be arranged on request and are subject to an extra charge of 60% of the return airfare per person including children. Private seaplane transfer can be arranged on request; rates and availability are subject to change.
Guests may use the TMA VIP Lounge in the seaplane terminal with access to light refreshments, tea, coffee, and soft drinks on arrival day. The waiting time at the TMA VIP Lounge is approximately 2-3 hours from the time of check-in for the seaplane transfer, depending on the international flight schedule. There may be further delays or cancellation due to inclement weather conditions or seaplane maintenance requirements. The resort will not be responsible for the additional charges in the event of delays or cancellations due to force majeure, weather conditions or maintenance requirements. Luggage allowance is 20 kilogrammes per person and 5 kilogrammes hand luggage (one bag). Any amount over this will be charged an additional USD 5 per kilogramme and may be subject to delivery delay. The Barcelo Whale Laggon is just a paradise on earth! we tried both the water villa sunset and the beach villa suite sunset, and it was 2 marvellous experience. Food proposed in the all inclusive is just a wonder of taste! All the team of the hotel and the dive center is just perfect, always looking for small details, and helping during the stay. The resort is good size, not too big, not too small, a perfect stay, thank you for all the Barcelo team for that great experience!

Impossibile trovare un difetto!! Location mozzafiato, Sunset beach Villa top, bagno meraviglioso, ristorante curato, pulitissimo buffet sempre in ordine e cucina ottima, tra le migliori trovate in villaggi! Personale sempre sorridente e gentile dal primo all’ultimo, non menziono nessuno per non dimenticare qualcuno!! Ottima organizzazione con idrovolanti e collegamenti con aeroporto, zero stress!! Consiglio di controllare minuziosamente le maschere del diving prima di prenderle in dotazione, ma nulla che ci abbia rovinato una delle nostre vacanze migliori! Non si sbaglia se si sceglie questa struttura per rilassarsi e fare pace con il mondo!

Hôtel sur une île privée, très bon accueil, services au top. Nourriture variée et de qualité. Cependant options de restauration en extra très chères tout comme les boissons. Villa pilotis au top, chambre confortable. Globalement un bon séjour, juste dommage qu'au départ l'hydravion fut en retard. On a donc attendu pour rien dans le hall de l'accueil au lieu de profiter du lieu. Un déjeuner pour patienter aurait été un geste commercial appréciable.
