My husband and I rented Bokeelia Bliss for 8 weeks recently. We really enjoyed the location, the neighborhood, the neighbors, the serene view and the sense of privacy that this house provides.The pool was wonderful and always spotless.The upper and lower decks provide a great view of the scenery and the pool. The house is lovely with lots of potential. But it sorely lacks cleanliness, kitchen items, new furniture, and working parts. While all the surface cleaning was fine, so many areas were grossly grimy. I called property management and after a couple of miscommunications with management and the cleaners, 3 cleaning lady visits, causing us to have to leave, 6 days later, it was as clean as it was going to get. My husband and I did a lot of the missed areas, but I did NOT do the windows. LOL! The management was very responsive when we had an issue. When the cold triggered the pool heat to turn off, the pool guy was at the house 1.5 hours after we called, new tank of propane within 2 hours. We felt however that their responses were reactive. If the house was regularly inspected to be sure it is clean, repaired, maintained and reequipped, they wouldn’t have had to react.I believe some things about Bokeelia Bliss were 5 star (pool, location, great neighborhood and neighbors, beautiful surroundings, quiet, a sense of safety and a good sense of privacy.) The overall dirty outside of the house and the grimy inside was a 1. So, I give it 3 stars.
