It’s truly outstanding in how horrible this property owned by wonderful Italy was. Although they offer a platform with which to communicate with the host, rest assured that you will not receive a response, or if you do, it will be redundant to the point that you might as well have received nothing back at all. The location itself is a pain to find, as it is surrounded by identical complexes with no clear indication of which one is the actual location you are supposed to enter and the instructions to find the building is hidden within the website. Once we managed to get into the building, we figured it would be smooth sailing from there as the instructions seemed quite straightforward. We couldn’t have been more wrong. The next hour was spent punching in a code for a door that would not open and phoning a wonderful Italy assistant who, despite trying to be helpful, clearly did not have enough information about the property to contribute anything of use. It got to the point where we were questioning whether the door was fake and reinforced into a brick wall. We would enter to code, the keypad would turn green, but the door would. Not. Budge. Only when another guest staying at the place, who HAD A KEY to unlock the door, showed up, were we allowed into the hallway that had the lock box with our keys. Keys that
