From the terrace of this traditional house, which is part of a very small hamlet in the Cevennes, you can enjoy a great mountain view. There is a great variety of sites and monuments to discover and all kinds of activities for everyone: excursions on foot, on a saddled donkey or horse or by mountain bike, swimming, climbing, canyoning or gold panning. Bonnevaux and its hamlets have managed to preserve their authentic and typical Cévennes character over the years, with slate walls, paved paths and terraced landscapes. The village is considered a symbol of the Cévennes and consequently adorns the cover of many books. Its church is one of the most beautiful in the valley of the Cèze and the Cevennes.

Tres belle petite maison perchée dans la montagne offrant un calme et une deconnexion totale dont nous avions besoin. Merci à notre hote pour sa sympathie et sa grande amabilité malgrés les difficultés à se joindre en raison de l'absence de réseau. Nous avons decouvert les richesses de l'Ardeche et ses beautés géologiques et avons pu profiter des nombreuses randos en Kayak et à pied.Le gite est idealement placé à cheval entre l'Ardeche et le Gard et ouvre ainsi plein de possibilités.A noter qu'il faut prevoir 60 euros de frais de menage en plus, qui ne sont pas stipulé dans l'annonce.Nous reviendrons surement pour nous couper du monde et profiter encore de la beauté des decors de cette tres belle region.

Nous sommes ravi de notre séjour dans ce logement !C'était très calme, peu de voisins, pas de circulation et le secteur est magnifique, propice à la marche et la détente.Dans le logement basiquement équipé, des portes ou poutres basses obligent les grands de plus de 1,74m (mesuré par mes soins) à une certaine prudence. Et une astuce pour finir : le plancher de l'étage craque beaucoup alors pour des déplacements silencieux, il suffit de repérer les poutres et de ne poser les pieds que sur celles-ci. Efficacité assurée !

Excellent accueil de la propriétaire. La maison est dans un hameau très très isolé, la montée en voiture est assez sportive mieux vaut ne pas croiser un autre automobiliste. La maison est très jolie de l'extérieur,. L'intérieur est un peu désuet en revanche la literie est excellente : nous avons très bien dormi. . Il faut penser à prévoir des provisions pour plusieurs jours avant l'arrivée car la location est loin de tout, le 1er supermarché se trouve à 25km

Au calme...

Gite fonctionnel et sympa. Il ne manque qu'Internet :) mais cela fait du bien de se déconnecter. Mention spéciale à la propriétaire pour sons sens de l’accueil et sa sympathie ! Merci beaucoup.

Authentique !!

Vous avez envie d'authenticité, de calme, n'hésitez pas, c'est ce qu'il vous faut. Prévoyez sac à dos et bonnes chaussures, et faites vos courses avant. La petite route qui mène au gite est surprenante. Vous êtes presque arrivés, laissez la voiture au parking et prenez le raccourci, cela en vaut la peine. Paysage, hameaux, gorges, villages, vous ne pouvez pas vous ennuyer et vous ne pouvez que vous ressourcer. Excellent séjour pour nous, couple de retraités 64 et 67 ans qui aimons randonner.
