Great location, needs some TLC.
We loved the location, being down on the water and close to everything was great.
The young lady who checked us in wasn’t rude but certainly wasn’t overly helpful. I went back down to the desk to get clarification on something and another employee was there along with the one who checked us in. The other employee was much more engaging & helpful.
The hotel itself is old and in need of some updating.
The bathroom in our room had been partially redone. New shiplap was on the walls but had not been painted, not sure if that was on purpose. No hooks or towel bar in bathroom. The new mirror and sink in bathroom were great. The actual bedroom was huge and the outside balcony was also large.
The bedroom really needed some updating. All and all we enjoyed our stay. I hope that by our bathroom being updated that means they are going to do some additional updating on the rooms.
It is a great location and we really enjoyed our time in Boothbay.
