Hi Its a basic hotel .Cheap .Ideal if its just an overnight stay near to the airport . Restaurant nearby basic but food was reasonably priced . Staff were pleasant and helpful .It served beer and wine breakfast was ok . Car park was in good order and felt secure

Disappointing

The location used to be a convenient stopover between France & Spain, but the tolls on the route mean we won't drive this way in future. Stayed here 3 times in total. The first time I fractured my skull on a badly situated staircase, which had been moved by the 2nd visit but is now back in situ but with the metal edges removed from the steps. There's a carpark at the back where big lorries park and keep their engines running too close to the rooms. There's also a constant humming noise from inside the building, so it's difficult to sleep.

The room is small and quaint but also just fine. The service was good, extremely helpful and always at the front desk, which is nice. Only downside was that Internet was not working in the room and unfortunately that is kind of a big deal to someone needing to get work done, just meant I had to sit in the lobby all night, no biggie just a minor discomfort.

Ideal location

This is a budget hotel, but the rooms are ok and the breakfast was good though only open till 9am. Only managed to get 1extra pillow and the room booked was supposed to be a twin but got a double. Good night's sleep anyway. Thanks

4 night stopover

The hotel was 15min out of the city by taxi which was inconvenient for us with no transport other than the trains. The bus stop was a short distance away which was convenient if you wanted to spend a lot of time getting into the city. There were 2 restaurants handy which was were convenient. In hindsite we would have been better to have stayed nearer the city. There was nowhere we could relax to enjoy our stay. Feel it more suitable for people passing through by car.

Handy stopover

Good budget hotel in an ideal location for travelling through France,alongside Junction 17 . Well situated also for nearby restaurant chains.Would certainly use it again!

The worst overnight stay ever

It was like staying inside an industrial unit. Hot, stuffy rooms meant most people had their doors and windows open and there was constant noise. I would rather have slept in my car but the room was pre-paid. The only plus point was that there was parking for my car and boat trailer which wasn't possible at several other hotels I looked at.

scruffy place and breakfast not worth the money.

I was passing through Bordeaux on my way to Spain from UK on a solo motorcycle trip and had done 580 miles that day so wanted a stopover and rest for the night. I found this hotel over from the road from the petrol station I was using. It is well situated on the ring road and was easy get away in the morning.The hotel looks ok from outside and in reception but passing up the stairs to my end of corridor room I noticed the dirty stained carpets in the hallways. My room lock and handle were a bit wobbly and did not feel that secure.Room was ok, clean but paint on walls was patchy and curtains were old and had holes galore in them.Breakfast in the morning was very very poor and no way worth the money, some cheap version cornflakes, another choco type cereal, some croissants, small French stick, proccesed cheese slices some cheap fruit hard boiled eggs and that was it.All in all not worth the money, I would not stay here again no matter how tired I was.

Awful hotel with dreadful room close to nothing

This was my worst experience ever in a hotel. The hotel is located miles away from the city of Bordeaux and is inconvenient to everything but a highway. The cab from the city cost 50 euros. The entire hotel is filled with the stench of stale cigarette smoke. My room the first night was so dreadful that I was unable to sleep. I asked to be moved into another, less smelly room. I was moved to a room that had a can of air freshener unloaded into it. The beds are cots laid across wooden staves. The shower faucet runs from a connection on the sink. And the entire hotel is covered in stains of various kinds. Not recommended for anyone under any circumstances.
