The Green Turtle II is a 45 foot motor yacht. Set in the historic Boston/Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston Harbor, the Green Turtle II offers an expansive view of Boston. The Green Turtle II is permanently docked at a protected marina during your stay.
The USS Constitution, Bunker Hill Monument and the Freedom Trail are just a short walk away. Take the free bus shuttle to North Station(.07 miles away) to the subway to any of the sites.
Enjoy the privacy of your own yacht. The Green Turtle was designed for comfort above all and the only reminder you are floating in Boston Harbor is the sound of the gulls, motion of the sea and reflection of the ocean dancing on the ceiling.

The Green Turtle II can accommodate 2-6 people. She has 2 queen staterooms and the salon has a sleeper sofa for 2 along with comfortable seating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location, clean and well equipped. Good communication while booking, and easy check in and check out. Property manager Sherrie walked us through the utilities and provided great information and tips on marina, transportation and surrounding area. DIdn't use our car once after arrival. Would love to stay again, excellent price point.

Wonderful boat in Boston

This was the best place we have ever stayed. This boat is perfect and the location is amazing. Jon and Karen were so responsive and helpful. The bathrooms are small and could be difficult to manage but that’s to be expected on a boat. The banana bread (baked by Karen) and other pastries were a great grab and go either late night or in the mornings. This was a great experience in the harbor - seeing the other boats and watching the ships come thru. We loved it!

A view of Bunker Hill

The stay was awesome. The boat was a little older, but it was well within our price range. It was like living in a gated community in Boston/Charlestown Harbor. It was super easy to get anywhere. We just 10 minute Uber to anywhere in Boston, Charlestown, and the casino.

Unforgettable memories

The Green Turtle was the cherry on top to our New England adventures. Perfect size for myself and two daughters (16 & 10). The check in process was excellent with a guided tour of the boat to ensure a comfortable stay followed by consistent and reliable communication between the manager and owners as needed. What a great way to enjoy a weekend in Boston. Check in was seamless, accommodations were just as described and Jon, Karen and Sherrie were so nice. The added touches, baked goods, coffee, tea, cream, sugar, butter, cream cheese etc were very much appreciated. Communication was easy and location was perfect. Boat stay

The Boat was fun, location was great. Boat started to smell a little musty after day two and we got in trouble by the owner for leaving the windows cracked while we were out. Nice place to stay, but if you have any trouble navigating stairs or don't like confined showers, think twice.

An exciting change of pace to stay in a floating residence!

Thanks to the owners for making our last two days' visit in Boston a unique and memorable visit. We rented their yacht for two nights and enjoyed every inch of the vessel - early morning coffee on the upper deck, watching boats sailing by on a lazy Saturday afternoon and being rocked to sleep on the bay harbor dock. What a fantastic visit and the owner even stopped by to check on how we were doing. Thank you for sharing your beautiful boat with us and we hope to back again on our next trip to Boston! 100% Better than a Hotel

Two main berths with two bathrooms. Great location in a marina in Boston harbor. Easy to get anywhere in Boston, just park your car and use the ferries or Uber. Great restaurants and USS Constitution in walking distance. Jon and Karen are great hosts who check in with you make sure you have everything you need. The kitchen is packed with coffee and tea, fresh made muffins, juice, milk, butter, cream cheese and water.

Mom's 80th Birthday!

Family celebration for our Mom's 80th birthday. My Sister and I and our Mother stayed for 2 nights. The location is everything! Staff top notch. Pictures don't do it justice. The interior could use a couple minor updates, nothing major and not a deterent. Beautiful views and we were surprised with a full rainbow on our last day. Easy access, check-in process, quick response to any questions. We highly recommend and would do it again and again. Our Mom said "we can't top this one".

Its an older yacht that has been renting for many years but..its in great condition and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The views, the gentle waves rocking you to sleep, and all of the extras Jon and Karen put into their place was amazing! They made sure we knew everything needed about the yacht, the area, and free transportation. :) Would definitely stay again.

If reading the VRBO ad it indeed notes a kitchenette…. In reality, there is no heating devices of any kind allowed on the boat per owners insurance. This includes a toaster or electric grill. We brought food for dinner but were unable to cook anything as the grill on the dock was out of gas. We did go out nightly for dinner but we were looking forward to a dinner or 2 at home with the grandchildren. The boat and host otherwise was great! Jon was interactive and knowledgeable.

Wonderful stay on the yacht

My husband and I booked this yacht as a fun change from a hotel on our last night in Boston. Jon is a wonderful host and took the time to share tips around the area and his wife had made us delicious muffins on top of several other nice touches. Our boys (ages 9 and 11) thought it was the coolest experience ever. The only bummer is we wish we had more time 😊. We hope to be back and highly recommend!
