We rented the presidential suite and 2 additional queen rooms for our July 4 stay. The rooms were good, except the presidential suite smelled like a cigar lounge and had some suspect white powder all over the glass coffee table. Upon departure, I reviewed my charges and discovered they charged me $250 for smoking, even though the smoke was there when I arrived. Furthermore, there was an array of unexplained charges and some credits on my card, the end result of which they overcharged me $535. Despite numerous emails to the front desk staff at the hotel trying to resolve the problem, and promises from them that it would be corrected, it's now 5 weeks since I have checked out and they have not returned my money or explained the overcharges. Good luck if you plan to stay with AKA.

The front desk staff were friendly & helpful. The room was comfortable & clean. Activity from the hallway was a bit noisy in the morning but otherwise, it we had a good stay.

I couldn't find the room darkening blinds so I asked for a $28 eye mask. I wished they would've mentioned that the blinds were not easy to find since that was quite pricey. I also wished the fridge had better space for my own items. Very noisy on a Saturday morning.

I needed an accessible room, however, forgot to book one in advance. Nate, who helped us last year (and remembered!), really took care of me by searching for any available accessible room. However, there were none available. So, he gave me an upgrade. After spending one night in the upgraded room with a tub, I realized it would be easier to switch to a room with a standup shower. (I’m a double above the knee amputee, and when I take my legs off at night, I have accessibility issues.) I was easily switched to a room with a standup shower. I also asked for an extra chair so that I could access the sink, and Nate delivered it personally. Nate's personal touch made the stay more welcoming. he is definitely a model for others to follow.

Great location and a seamless early check-in made for great one night stay for a ballgame. Very modern decor, we opted for upgrade to city view room and well worth it. Short walk to T for transportation. Highly recommend.

The room and bed were very comfortable. I appreciate the extra hooks in the bathroom. I did not use it but I liked the idea of the steamer over an iron. I liked that there was a fridge but was unable to put my left over Osso Bucco in the fridge because of all the mini bar pay drinks.

Everything was perfect!

AKA is in a convenient location for walking all around town. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfy. Also great water pressure in the shower!!!
