Allereerst is de ligging van dit huisje fantastisch: midden in het bos, met veel privacy en een prachtig uitzicht. We werden erg gastvriendelijk ontvangen door Dhr. Olivier en de communicatie met hem verliep soepel. Het huisje was in prima staat, doch een beetje verouderd. Met name de staat van de pannen vormde een kleine uitdaging bij het koken. Ook is er geen WiFi-verbinding. Gelukkig functioneerden de elektronica prima (vaatwasser, oven, magnetron) en was er genoeg te doen in de omgeving. Al met al hebben we een fijn verblijf gehad in deze Belvilla. Het enige wat we een beetje misten was een printje of klapper met wat meer informatie over het huisje (bijvoorbeeld hoe de oven werkt, of wat we met ons afval moeten doen).

Geweldigde omgeving en een vrijheid om het huisje heen, mooi terras, heerlijke ochtend/ middag zon. De hond blij, wij blij! Heerlijk kunnen wandelen zo vanuit het huisje. Open haard en verwarming waren heel fijn met de koudere nachten in september. Aanrader als je even tot rust wil komen en onbezorgd wil genieten.

Aankomst was prima. Komen al jaren in dit huis, dus accommodatie was bekend. Fantastische omgeving. Er was een nieuwe douche en bad geplaatst. De douche konden we echter niet gebruiken en moesten in bad douchen, wat voor iemand die wat slecht ter been was, niet mogelijk was. Dit had van te voren even gemeld moeten worden. De TV ontbrak, nou kijken wij niet veel tv als we weg zijn, maar toch. Verder is het huis goed schoon. We zien dat er verbeteringen in onderhoud en vernieuwingen worden/zijn aangebracht, dat is heel fijn. Dit jaar alleen hele grote pannen en te weinig (oven)schalen. Wij nemen ze nog steeds zelf mee omdat je anders niet uitkomt. De visvijver heeft duidelijk onderhoud nodig, weinig vis, veel waterplanten. De tuin is niet geschikt (veilig) voor kleine kinderen.

Als je op de kaart kijkt is het goed te vinden. De beheerder is vriendelijk en helpt je in het Frans me ? Handen en voeten prima verder. Het huisje is ouderwets maar heel leuk en schattig ingericht. Er waren voldoende kookspuen en de bedden zijn ook ouderwets maar goed. De omgeving rondom het huisje is erg mooi en groen. Genoeg plek om te bbq'en voetballen en andere dingen.

We spraken af met de opgegeven persoon om de sleutel op te halen om 15 u. We moesten contact opnemen met de gerant omdat hij niet thuis was op het afgesproken uur. De accommodatie voldeed maar een 2de douche op de bovenverdieping zou praktisch zijn. Omgeving was prachtig midden van de bossen en toch niet te ver naar bakker of de stad Bouillon.

Prachtige plek en het huis was goed, echter geen overbodige luxe. Echter de warm-water voorziening bleek gauw niet meer te werken, waardoor we al snel contact op moesten nemen met de eigenaar. Die was snel aanwezig om te helpen. De omgeving is heel erg mooi, met name met mooi weer is het heerlijk, als het slecht weer is, vonden wij weinig te doen in en rondom het huis. Tevens zijn wij eerder vertrokken vanwege ziekte, maar moesten wel een groot gedeelte van de borgsom definitief betalen vanwege gas-water-licht verbruik, dit klopte niet!

Het huisje was gezellig en perfect voor 10 personen. Het was voldoende ruim, met een prachtige omgeving. Ideale voor wandelliefhebbers!! Toen de plon uitviel was meneer Dedecker binnen de 10 minuten ter plaatse. Hij was erg vriendelijk en hulpvaardig! Kortom, zeer goede prijs-kwaliteit en aan iedereen aan te raden! Ook voor jongere kinderen is er een kickertafel en een pingpongtafel waarmee je je kan amuseren.
