Everything was great with this property. In fact I think it has been renovated since I stayed there a number of years ago. However, one point I found unusual and could impact me staying there in future, is the $5 parking fee that has been put in place recently. This is the first time I have experienced anything like this in a hotel with a pretty sizable parking lot. It isn't even on the hotel's website. So for this, I would ding this property. I stayed in a different La Quinta property the previous night, maybe 20 minutes from this one. No parking charge and I was in one of their renovated rooms. Very nice as well.

We got the hung suite and it was a nice amount of space for the price. The only thing that was bothersome is the door to come in from outside which was close to our room the door key would not work and the hotel stated they need to fix it.
