The Cottage is a safe space open to everyone.Self check-in, private garden area with outdoor furniture (& table-tennis). River/pubs within 1 mile walk. Galleried bedroom, Superking bed, laptop friendly desk/dressing table (room for travel cot). Ground floor large sofabed. Wifi & SmartTV. Kitchen area with oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer. Dining table for 4. Free parking on large forecourt shared with main house. Quiet location, trees and birdsong. Animal friendly.
The space
The Cottage is modern, light and spacious. The bedroom has a huge, comfortable bed with luxurious 600 thread sateen cotton bed linen. There is room for a travel cot or toddler blow-up bed. The extendable antique wooden table makes a perfect study area, or dressing table area, next to a full length mirror (and hairdryer). There is plenty of drawer and hanging space, plus a full-length closet downstairs, with iron and ironing board. The kitchen area is fully equipped to cater from breakfast and snacks to home-cooked meals. To the side of The Cottage is a sunny garden area with BBQ and outside table and chairs and reclining chairs for your exclusive use, and to the rear is a small copse then fields. Our 3 friendly dogs (2 labradors and a shihtzu) play in the grounds and will give you a warm welcome!

The whole cottage is yours. There is shared parking to the front. To the side of The Cottage is a garden area for your exclusive use. (Note, it is not totally enclosed).

GREAT COTTAGE and Hosts

Peter and Kaye were GREAT hosts. The place was immaculate and exactly what was described online. More than enough room for me, my wife and 15 year old daughter. They even left a bottle of Chardonnay for our Friday night arrival and Peter brought over 2 great beers!! Their 2 dogs were VERY friendly and my daughter just loved them. I HIGHLY recommend staying here the next time you are near Cookham UK. Thanks again for a GREAT time!! Hope to see you again. Elmhurst IL Gang

Fantastic in every way

We had a lovely holiday. The cottage is perfect & bigger than I thought. Lots of special touches such as milk & nibbles, shampoo etc. The most comfortable bed for wonderful nights sleep. Very dog friendly with wonderful walks & dog friendly pubs. The hosts are super friendly & helpful. We will definitely be back!

The surroundings were wonderful and the cottage was very comfortable and clean. Our only complaint is that a hot tub was advertised but was non existent which was a huge misrepresentation by Vrbo on the property details. It was one of the considerations when we booked the property We have requested an explanation from Vrbo but so far nothing is forthcoming (22.5.24)
