Wildernest Mountainside Airstream Getaway

You'll be staying in Wildernest's rebuilt vintage Airstream accommodation with a separate private detached washroom and laundry cabin. A fully equipped, year round getaway on an acre of land just outside the city. The only Airstream bed and breakfast on Bowen Island, and the closest to Vancouver, Canada of its kind.

Guest access:

We do not offer early check-in or late check-out due to our rigorous cleaning schedule. Please do not ask for an exception. Guests must be off the property before check-in and immediately after check-out and the driveway cannot be blocked any time outside of the booking window.



2 GUESTS MAXIMUM. THERE ARE NO PETS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. No exceptions for emotional support animals. Due to the steep nature of the terrain, we do not allow guests to explore the cliffs above the Airstream. NO CHILDREN UNDER 12. The driveway and parking area are video monitored for safety and security.



We live on the north side of the same property and are always available to our guests; however, once you check in, you will feel like you're in your own world.





Other things to note:

Please be aware: there is no commercial ridesharing or public transit on the island from Snug Cove to the Airstream. A car is recommended, but you can also rent an e-bike or enjoy the walk (about 45 minutes). Once you reach the property, the foot trail to the Airstream is approximately 100m with an elevation gain of 15m on graded gravel.

The Airstream is an incredibly well kept property, providing adequate space & privacy. Nestled on a cliff that provides a dramatic landscape, the Airstream itself is spotless, with more amenities offered compared to other glamping sites we’ve been to. The attention to detail & small gifts were unexpected delights & the record player was icing on the cake! The outdoor tub is a must - in any season! Instructions & communication was clear & pleasant. We loved our Wildernest getaway! It was such a fun adventure arriving on site and wandering up the lit path to our little piece of paradise. The Airstream was beautifully decorated with a playful vibe. The whole property was spotless and thoughtfully laid out. Highlights included soaks in the outdoor tub, listening to some vinyl, late night movies in bed, complimentary snacks/staples, and an awesome set of kitchen knives!!

Love in the Wilderness

Mike and Bean's airstream is a treasure on Bowen Island.
