'Bradman Views' Bowral
Overlooking Bradman Oval in the heart of the town, 'Bradman Views' is within walking distance of the main shopping streets, cafés, boutiques and entertainment.
As well as the oval, there is a lovely park with a children’s playground and an old cricket pitch roller secured in place for children to climb on.
Just at the end of Bradman street (100m) is access to Cherry tree walk. This is a great walk to the swimming pool along a path perfect for walking or bike riding under cherry trees that are a memorial to Vietnamese soldiers. There is an outdoor gym at the end of the walk, too. There are 2 adult bikes (and helmets) (to use at your own risk). In the other direction the walk/bike track can take you to Moss Vale, perhaps further.
Just across the park is a café outside the Bradman museum but the one we prefer is The Hospital Café just around the corner, off Bowral St in Mona Rd.
A lovely wraparound verandah provides cool in the heat of the day plus a north facing sundeck to provide for sun filled winter relaxation looking over the garden and oval. For sunny days there is an awning over the deck as well as another over the sunroom.
There is a large grassed area for children to play in or for adults to enjoy sitting in the shade of an established flowering plum tree. At the right time of the year you may catch the blossoms or the autumn colours.
There are 3 large bedrooms, sleeping 6.
The main bedroom has a queen size bed, walk-in wardrobe, and modern en-suite.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third has 2 king single beds which can be made into a King bed.
There is a separate large modern bathroom with shower and bath.
The property has 2 separate large living areas with one containing a gas log fire plus ducted central heating throughout the house for winter and air-conditioning for the summer.
The new open-plan living area is connected to the kitchen which opens onto a dining area to easily seat 6 or 8 and a lounge area that looks out to the deck and garden.
The house is well suited to families with a high chair, a portable cot, a bed rail that can be attached to one of the single beds for older toddlers, a step for kids to reach the sink (or adults to get in and out of the bath easily) and even a potty and a little bike for toddlers to ride around outside.
There are some games in the lounge room cupboards. The TV is internet enabled to allow for the use of ABC iView and Netflix etc.
From the internal laundry there is access to the undercover secure parking plus off-street space for 2 other cars. There’s plenty of on street parking too.
