A Tropical Beach Cottage Near West Palm Beach & Delray Beach!

Welcome to Banyan ReTREET our special slice of paradise in the heart of Palm Beach County! This property is a renovated and uniquely decorated 1950's beach cottage.

Just 1 mile from the ocean & walking distance to Boynton Beach Marina, where you can enjoy food and water sports fun! (Guided fishing trips, scenic intercoastal tours, jetski & kayak rentals) And a short drive to Delray Beach and the famous Atlantic Ave!

Slide into our retro lounge filled with funky art, vintage furnishings, plenty of games and old parlor vibes. Take that perfect post beach nap on our plush sunroom daybed, or maybe watch your favorite show lounging on our vintage brown leather couch. Around every corner is a special moment waiting to be explored; subtle touches that make for a unique but homey environment.

Backyard:
Focused around our massive 150+ year old Banyan Tree, we have our famous soaker pool, perfect for all day floating and beating the heat. The tub can comfortably hold up to 5 adults.

Throughout the large outdoor space you will find several different seating, tanning and dining areas, a 5 burner propane BBQ, along with 2 patios good for mellow nights under the stars, or perhaps a sunrise yoga session (mats provided). Take a stroll and follow our stone paths to explore our beloved tree.

Design Style:
Our design point of view has always been rooted in the California desert, and our favorite little town of Palm Springs. In our bungalow hideaway you can expect mid century wood tones and tapered furniture legs, blended with boho patterns, eclectic art and tropical undertones. Each piece and each room thoughtfully put together; a combination of thrifty finds and occasional splurges that have created such a quirky and loveable property.

Bedrooms:
Our three Bedrooms are designed as their own intimate and private oasis, equipped with names and personalities all their own;

*The Sunset Room:
Our Primary Bedroom, and the largest of all bedrooms with a King size bed. A beach vacation is all about sunset pastels, light wood tones and soaking in that sunset energy. One of the most serene places on property, enjoy a private seating area, a hand painted sunscape, a massive full-length mirror and a vintage rattan vanity piece from the 50’s!

*The Paradise Room:
The most playful room of the house, with its 14x11 ft wall mural of “paradise”, the perfect place to day dream! Our second King Bedroom is equipped with a full-length mirror, a wavy vintage dresser (and closet), gold Moroccan lamps, and a combination of tribal and vintage patterns throughout.

*The Secret Garden Room:
Our treasured little hideaway features a Queen bed and our beloved custom vanity; from an awkward corner, to our favorite corner! Dangling vines and nature inspired art brings the whimsy out, while our signature arches welcome you into this cozy space.

Bathroom:
The tropical print, playful art, stylish green terrazzo tiles and classic gold and black fixtures make the space refreshing and peaceful. The shower is equipped with a 7ft rainfall shower head and handheld shower head, as well as a tub for any soaking you might need (Shampoo, Conditioner, Bodywash, Hair dryer, Q-tips, Cotton Swabs, and hand soap included). Please also enjoy our outdoor shower, rinsing under the Banyan does something good for the soul!

Explore the Home:
Our indoor dining area is as special to us as any part of the house because of our homemade “L” shaped bench and signature design arches; this space is so cozy, the perfect spot to enjoy a home cooked meal.
The open kitchen, dining, and living rooms are made for nights full of food, drink and lots of laughter. The kitchen is fully equipped with most all cooking utensils, and all stainless steel appliances (Dishwasher pods and general Seasonings included)

The Living Room is equipped with a 50in Smart TV; you are welcome to log into your personal apps/network and enjoy. (Some channels and movies are provided)

Soaking Pool:
The most special place on property, we are so excited for you to enjoy our Stock Tank soaking pool! Though the water is not heated these metal tanks are made to keep the water inside between 76-82 degrees, meaning it always feels pretty close to perfect :)

Simple instructions and rules for the Stock Tank pool will be given to guests prior to arrival, as well as in the properties guide book.
(chlorine tablets, a weekly cleaning/filter pump)

Please be cautious with any children on property near the pool, drowning is a serious threat with any body of water big or small. Adult supervision is required at ALL times when children are present. Please keep the cover in place over the tub, unless you are actively using it. A waiver of Liability for the pool will be required for guests to sign off on before they enter the property.

Coffee Bar:
This space sits just outside the kitchen cut-out “window” and allows all the coffee lovers to grab their favorite mug and enjoy a nice cup of Joe from a standard machine or French Press, both provided. A Tea pot and tea bags, along with Medium roast coffee, creamer and sugar are provided.

Wine & Spirits Bars:
Please enjoy both of our two distinct vintage bar spaces in the game room and the main living room. Classic glassware, fun recipes, and the essential cocktail tools make it easy to enjoy a night of mixing, shaking, sipping and smiling! Please no glassware outside.

Guide Book:
The home comes with a guide book for all property amenities and appliances.

One of the best parts of vacation and of life is the food. So our favorite thing is giving our guests an in depth look into the best restaurants in Palm Beach County! From those local mom and pop spots, to Michelin stars and James Beard Award winning chefs, we have you covered for the best bites around! (all in our house guide)

No Pets
No Smoking

No additional guests without prior consent
No illegal substances
No adult content downloaded or bought on property wifi/TV
No explicit filming or photography on property
Quiet hours 10pm-7am
Do not move furniture (no taking indoor furniture outside, vice versa)
No hair dying (do not stain the sinks)
Use black makeup towels for makeup removal
No eating in bedrooms
No open Flames or Candles
No glassware outdoors
Do not pour grease, oil etc.. down the sinks

- Quiet hours begin at 10:30pm (We love our neighbors, and always want to respect their peace and quiet)

- Though our turf area is great for some mini golf (4 putting holes, 2 putters, 6 balls), the turf/grass length is long, naturally making it enjoyable for a wide variety of activities!

- Full sized Laundry Washer & Dryer (Laundry pods & Dryer sheets included). Iron, Ironing board, Vacuum and Broom.

- Desk Space: though we would prefer you didn’t work, we know the bills have to get paid! Enjoy our cozy nook in the living room with our refurbished desk and favorite Giraffe lamp.

- Beach Amenities: Beach towels, beach cooler, 6 beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand toys, all provided

PROPERTY Maintenance:

- Guests are asked to take trash down on Tuesdays & Fridays. (night before is best)

- Landscapers are on property weekly for 30 minutes of general maintenance

- Monthly bug spraying/pest control – Will notify guest if this falls on a day they have rented.

- Not required to water our plants, but they might love you a little more if you do! (Evenings only please) If you do not want to water at all, depending on your length of stay, we will come by to water the front yard plants. Planned out day/time will be decided upon.
