Charged for a non available room.

Weeks before, a welcoming Ginny Hart took the phone reservation and I said it was for 2. She said to give her the extra name (Cathy Carroll) to ADD to the ONE reservation. I called, the afternoon, of first night, and asked Clayton to put our TWO rooms together. He said it was no problem. I called again for connecting rooms. Clayton promised to leave a note for night person. At check in, that night clerk said there were no notes or rooms left and that I had only one reservation. He did not ask for my 2nd person's name!!! That would have solved everything, even if Clayton left the promised note. Cathy was in the car because of no parking. Everything was sold out. Cathy had to stay with a badly injured friend. (Before our stay I never received an email with separate reservations). When I spoke to Ginny, she said that Clayton DID leave a note...Someone lied. Ginny apologized for the mistakes. She intimated that I wouldn't be charged a no show for the first night. BUT, upon checking out, the clerk seemed reluctant to give me my receipts. When I was aghast at seeing a charge for the first night (which was caused by both Ginny's and the desk clerks' mistakes). I asked to see Ginny again. The clerk said Ginny had rethought her decision and was gone until Monday. Looking at the not normally closed hallway door, to her office, I frustratingly said, "Yeah right!" Ginny "happened" to take a 4 day vacay??I think not! I am sure she was hiding. UNPROFESSIONAL I deserve a night's refund.

What a fun hotel!! Pool was super clean, the hot tub worked! Tons of towels readily available. My kids LOVED the bunkbeds and I enjoyed my own space. The breakfast was good, but they could rethink the organization of it a little. Coffee stuff was across the room from the coffee, the milk was across the room from the cereal. The fridge everyone wanted in for milk, butter, yogurt, etc was in the corner between the waffle maker and the coffee, so it was ALWAYS a cluster trying to get anything.

Awful experience

I will never stay at a Days Inn and Suites again. There was 1/4 roll of toilet paper and no extra in the room when I arrived. 3/4 of the light bulbs were missing. There wasn’t enough shampoo or conditioner left in the pump bottles for a shower. There was a centipede on the floor in the bathroom when I turned on the light. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was tiny. I didn’t even go to the offered breakfast after the rest of my experience. I have stayed in many hotels on this trip and this was by far the worst one. I can’t believe I was charged over $200. I would like as much of a refund as possible after describing my experience.

While we booked a king bed online we ended up with a queen bed, however they upgraded us to a room with a large Jacuzzi tub but we were there for such a short amount of time we didn't even get to use it. With all the wall unit ACs running it sounded like you were in a jet engine turbine so there was no way to have a conversation if I was at the vanity curling my hair and my fiance was reading options of places to go eat. The cleanliness of the room was not great, there appeared to be what I want to believe was melted chocolate in spots all over the floor and the tub in the shower took forever to drain which I hate standing in my shower water. The staff was friendly and let me check out an hour late after running my fiance to the airport at 4:45am so that was also nice along with the quick access to the interstate.

Staff was very friendly, but the beds in our room weren’t clean. We were given a full refund on our stay and moved to a different hotel. I appreciate how easy the situation was resolved and the front desk was very apologetic.
