Spread across two levels, our cottage offers ample space for larger families to vacation together while maintaining privacy. Each floor boasts its own kitchen, making meal preparation a breeze, and an on-site laundry facility for your convenience. The kitchen on the main floor features a spacious island for meal prep and socializing.

The open-concept sitting and dining rooms provide a warm and inviting space for gatherings, overlooking the stunning views of the Muskoka River. Step onto the 10 ft dock that extends right onto the Muskoka River.

Lounge on the various Muskoka chairs, take a refreshing dip, or explore the water with the provided kayak and canoe. Depending on the water height, you might even find a sandy beach to enjoy.

The cottage features two principal bedroom suites, ensuring maximum comfort and relaxation. Additionally, a spacious room offers two sets of bunk beds (double on the bottom, single on top), making it perfect for younger guests or a cozy retreat for friends.

Birthday Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay @thehausontheriver. When we arrived it was very clean and there was a cute little welcome gift left for us. It had everything we needed and more. The host was so great with communication and made sure we were able to get in and didn’t need anything else. I loved the little binder of FYIs about the cottage - made it easy for us. We will definitely go back for another stay!

Amazing Host w/ Exceptional Care for Your Stay

Sandra was absolutely amazing with communication from start to finish. She was absolutely wonderful to connect and i imagined that every message she sent was with a big smile cause thats the feeling i got with all her response. You can absolutely tell that there is so much love and care put into every inch of this property and it was such a treat to be able to share in the beautiful place they created for guests. Directions for everything is provided and the place was spotless and stunning. We were greeted with treats and personal notes and even for our fur babies.such beautiful sweet personal touches that made us feel so welcomed. If you sit on the sofa on the 2nd floor for your morning coffee, and look out thw window, i dare you not to feel as though your in a hallmark movie. Loved our stay and thank you for being such an amazing host Sandra and B!

Peaceful late fall retreat on the Muskoka River.

This cottage is in a beautiful location and was super comfortable with everything needed for our stay. The host was exemplary and responded quickly to questions and requests. Highly recommend!
