Very clean, comfortable, and the decor was charming! Fireplace wasn't working properly though. It was hard to get a fire to continue going strong. I think the damper may need to be adjusted. Overall, a beautiful place. Would stay there again!

Close to Branson, But Away From Crowds

It’s fun to go to Branson, but even better to drive away from the crowds to a peaceful setting. We found this property to be as presented and just exactly what we wanted. Having two suites with a comfortable living area was great for two couples. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms clean with plenty of space. Water was nice and hot with great pressure. We stayed three nights, but it seemed we had towels for only two nights. Thankfully there was a washer and dryer, so we just washed them. That is my only negative thought.We did not cook there, but the kitchen appeared well stocked, We drank coffee only. The back porch area was so pleasant in the morning. We did not grill or use the fireplace, but for anyone wanting to, everything was available.We also did not use the pool or common areas, but they appeared neat and well maintained. The cabins are close together, but it was a quiet neighborhood. All in all, we had a great stay and would go back.

Loved the location and especially the back deck. We enjoyed the evening fires in the fireplace. Thank you for providing the firewood. The cabin was cozy, clean, interesting with all the antiques, and a well stocked kitchen. Host is very prompt in responding to any problems. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

We have stayed at the Elkhorn cabin many times, and it is so comfortable and welcoming. I want to mention how much we appreciate the immediate response we had from Darla when one of the smoke detectors was chirping. She sent someone to take care of it literally within minutes. It’s that kind of service that sets this cabin apart.
