Staff was welcoming. Our first room had issues with toilet being unstable and a crooked faucet. We had booked for 2 nights so didn't want to deal with maintenance in the room. The tv also didn't turn on. We called down to the front desk to ask about repairs or changing rooms and to walk us through the remote control (there are 2 power buttons, one probably for the cable?) but he said, "you just turn it on." We eventually asked to just move rooms and he said he wasn't sure the manager was around to ok that. I asked if they had a lot of vacancies and he said they did. We were ready to turn in for the night. A maintenance person came to our floor and gave us the new key cards to another room. We found the new room, all good except again the tv wouldn't turn on. We did call down the next day to ask if maintenance could check tv. Maintenance came to the room and said wiring was unhooked. He fixed the issue. Overall, comfortable. They did either repair or make right the outstanding issues. Downstairs restaurant has a nice breaksfast buffett and all the staff was super friendly.

We have stayed at Thousand Hills before and will probably continue to stay there. We really enjoy the breakfast and the service. Everyone is very helpful and the rooms are decently clean. There was a bandaid over the peep hole in our room which kind of grossed me out but that was the only issue we ran into on our most recent stay.
