Whispering Pines Retreat is a charming, cozy one bedroom cabin that is perfect for a romantic escape or a small family getaway! Sleeping arrangements include a private bedroom with king bed, a queen pull out sofa, and a sturdy bunk bed in the living area. Great getaway with or without the kids. This cabin will sleep up to six guests.

The kitchen is fully stocked with the basics that every kitchen needs. This cabin also features a 60 game upright arcade with classic games from the 80's such as Defender, Galaga, Pac Man, Donkey Kong, and more. Try to get the highest score and no quarters needed. There are two smart TVs for streaming, one in the bedroom and one in the living area. Mom and Dad can watch their show while the kids watch their own. With a private picnic table and park style BBQ grill, you can enjoy an evening BBQ.

Whispering Pines Retreat is in a great location being near the highway and close to the highlights of Branson, but also tucked away in a woodsy area so you still feel away from everything. Less than five minutes away from Silver Dollar City, you can occasionally hear The whistle from the Silver Dollar train in the distance.You will be within walking distance of a pizza place/bar and the famous Billy Gail's breakfast restaurant.

AMENITIES
The resort offers an outdoor community pool and hot tub with fairy lights hung above to make a lovely atmosphere. The pool is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, the hot tub is open April through November. The community fire pit is a great place to spend the evening relaxing and roasting some s'mores. Bring your cornhole or washer game as there is open space behind the cabin for an outdoor game.

PETS
Whispering Pines Retreat is pet friendly. The non-refundable pet fee is $35 per night, per pet, with a maximum of two pets. Only dogs are allowed. If you are bringing a furry family member you must mention how many have in your reservation request and a payment request will be sent to you for the pet fee.

SMOKING
No smoking of any substance is allowed inside the cabin. Smoking is allowed outside only. Violation of this rule will result in a $500 fee charged to the guest.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
The security deposit is a hold placed on your credit card and is not actually charged. The hold is released three days after departure as long as there is no damage, extra cleaning needed, or policy violations.

CANCELLATIONS

Guest receives 100.00% (less $500.00 taxable cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs at least 60 days before arrival; No refunds within 60 days of arrival.

Over lodging was good. Older unit but remodeled nicely and had a great location. Issues with the tv's as cable not working on main tv and remotes missing on tv in bedroom. Host immediately responded to our email and offered to send housekeeping out the next day but our option not to worry about it. Listing mention arcade game in unit but it was not working, appear to have no power but was plugged in. Check strip but nothing. Overall unit was fine and we would stay again.

We were glad to find this cabin for our last-minute weekend trip. We wanted a place close to downtown for nightly shows, but also with some privacy. We found that in this cabin. We especially liked the front porch to sit on, have a drink, and converse with our cabin neighbors. The pool was closed as it was Oct. And we didnt use the hot tub. However, it looked clean and we saw the maintenance guy there checking it. We also trailered our motorcycle so we could ride of a day. There was parking space for both the truck and trailer. The cabin was fine for the 2 of us, but if mine I would definitely make some changes inside to make more room. The bedroom is very tight with a king size bed and dresser. Overall, we enjoyed the location and the cabin.

Great family cabin!

The check in was super easy! The cabin was clean and well stocked. There was plenty of room for our party of 6. The kids loved the bunk bed! We’d wished we had brought a foam mattress to throw on the sofa bed as my son complained of the rail being uncomfortable but that is a typical sofa bed for you. My husband likes a hard bed and I soft, so we were both reasonably comfortable with a middle of the road mattress. We all loved playing the arcade system, but especially the kids. We also loved being across from the pool. We did enjoy both the pool and hot tub. Check out rules were easy to follow. Our dogs also enjoyed being with the family! Other plusses were having some great restaurants close by…we had a Billy Gail breakfast and Ozark Mountain Pizza for dinner. We also enjoyed seeing Silver Dollar City closing fireworks over the trees while sitting on our deck. We would definitely book this cabin again in the future!

It was convenient for us as we were there to take our 6 yr old grandson to Silver Dollar City. He really enjoyed the video game machine. Bedroom is pretty tight to get around but the bed sleeps well. The unit is tidy but could use a deep cleaning (as most rentals do). Would we stay here again? Probably so. Good pizza next door and breakfast just beyond.

Great Cabin with SDC Proximity

A great cabin for our family of 4 with 2 kids and 2 dogs for a fall break at SDC. Short, clear instructions for checkout procedures was on the fridge so we didn't have to worry about checking the listing for information a bunch of times. Comfortable beds. Perfect property to walk dogs around. Owners were responsive to questions upon booking. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and immediately functional. Appreciated that soap, paper towels, dish soap, etc. was made available along with the basic kitchen supplies and hand towels. Plenty of towels and washcloths too in case we needed extra.
