Picked the unit for location as we had previous stayed across the street at Valdoro. Easy walk to Main St. The picture didn't quite reflect the interior as there were no bar stools but an additional recliner. The furnishings could use an update as they are a bit worn. Moving luggage to the unit is especially cumbersome as the luggage racks can't be taken to the parking lot. Must unload and then walk up 6-7 steps to get to the landing where the racks were positioned. Trying to get the washer/dryer to function through the app was a failure. Finally gave up and found a laundromat in town. Got to be a better way. Having a floor box fan would useful. Having been to Breckenridge many times I was prepared and had brought my own. The free bus route right out front was a plus. Didn't use the garage but having to get out of your car to enter the code is annoying.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will use VRBO again.

Real ski in/out location when Peak 9 is open
Liked the stay. Unit was very clean, new kitchen appliances, extremely well stocked. Thank you for having salt and pepper! One con: the bedroom bed was advertised as queen size, in reality its a full size bed.

Walk to the ski/snowboard school and lifts.
Stay was only two nights but the location was extremely convenient with 9- and 5-year-olds. 10 min walk to the Beaver Run ski school or 5 min walk to the Village Ski School/Quicksilver Chair (ski in/out, less easy on a board), or 10 min walk to main street. The hot tub in this property is small, particularly while renovating the indoor section. Short walk across the street to the main pool with three hot tubs. Parking garage is great! Would be nice if there was an elevator all the way down but not a dealbreaker.Would definitely stay again!

Excellent Location and Top Notch Manager
The property was fantastic - ski-in / ski-out at Peak 9 with walking access to the village. I also can't say enough about the staff at Ski Country Resorts. They guided me through the check in and check out process and made it seamless. We arrived after hours and had to depart early in the morning, but despite that, the process couldn't have been easier. Great stay.

Great location for Peak 9
Loved the feel of the resort and we especially loved the proximity to the chair lift as well as the town of Breckenridge. Check in was super easy and the garage parking was very helpful. As an added bonus, the hot tub was rejuvenating after a long day on the mountain. We would definitely stay again!

Great location
The condo is very nice, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is truly ski/ski out with a short lift ride to all Breck has to offer. A 5 or 10 minute walk to most anywhere you want to visit downtown. After a day on the runs, the hot tub is perfect!!! A truly wonderful experience.

Great Place and close to the lift
It was a great stay. This is the closest ski in ski out location I have stayed in! That was awesome. The lack of communication from the management company and/or owner was not very good. I never got a confirmation with where to get keys and when the unit would be available and it created a bit of worry. Normal VRBO rentals are more on time with correspondence and directions. I had to call the management company to get details. That was frustrating. That being said it had indoor parking, and was exactly what you saw. Older but adequate and functioning well.

Location, Location, Location is great for skiing and town
Step back in time when you enter this condo. Everything is dated in late 80's. If you want to ski into an out of, great place. Garage is nice. Water is backwards in both bathroom and kitchen. Hide a bed is old and needs updating for 3/4 guest. One chair on deck, really? Should have drop box for keys at location, not customer friendly.

One of the best vacations we've ever had
This was hands down one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed at. The location couldn't of been better. We were able to back in our rental Tahoe into the garage spot and having it in a warm garage was a huge perk!
This unit was everything we needed and our family of 4 enjoyed everything. The grocery store within walking distance was wonderful, but I do recommend stopping in Frisco for your major shopping to save a some money.
Unit really had everything you could need but was a little short on cereal bowls, so you may want to get some disposable.
We highly recommend staying here and will definitely work with Ski Country if we decide to return next year!

Great little condo right next to Quicksilver Lift!
I loved staying here. Really cozy little condo a short walk away from the Quicksilver superchair!
The folks at Ski Country resorts were super accommodating with late checkin, allowing me to pick up my key well after closing time and allowing me to check in the next day.
I think my only complaint is that we needed to call to get a maintenance tech out due to the thermostat not working with the fireplace as well as one of the cabinets falling off the hinges, but after I reported it they responded with a tech who fixed it ASAP!
Would stay here again!

Convenience in a town without
You can't ask for a more convenient location to ski, park and access main street. You are about as close as possible to the lift, you have heated, covered parking with shopping and restaurants just a short walk away.
We easily had space for a family of four in the condo and it was very clean. A couple of tips for staying there: 1. Bring your own ground coffee, filters, sugar etc. as the condo has a regular drip coffee brewer (not a Keurig or some fancy coffee machine). There is a city market as you enter town on the north side and also a neighborhood market within walking distance. 2. My Toyota Tacoma almost couldn't fit in the parking spot. The turn is tight and there is a wall on one side and a pillar on the other. Vehicles much bigger may not be able to fit. 3. Stop at the front door and unload all of your stuff to take advantage of the luggage trolley and elevator. The parking garage does not have elevator access and the room is on the 3rd floor.
PROS: Distance to ski lift (Quicksilver Super Chair), Heated covered parking, clean, easily room for 4, full kitchen with all needed cooking and eating utensils, pool pass to shared pool across the street, gas fire, can see the New Year's Fireworks right from the balcony, ski storage on the 1st floor (if you don't keep them on your car).
CONS: Tight parking (at least for me), No elevator from parking garage to 3rd floor room, TV could be bigger (but is adequate and a flat panel), check-in office is located a short drive away and has limited parking (especially during the busy times).
Overall we loved our time and again really appreciated the cleanliness and the convenience- especially in a town known for it's lack of parking and distances to get to ski lifts. Would definitely stay there again.

Review
over all our stay at Trails End was fine. There were several issues that I addressed at check out but none of these issues affected our satisfaction. The biggest issue was the cleanliness of the condo. the ceiling above the fire place was full of dust and needed a good vacuum. Also behind all the furniture hadn't been vacuumed for a while, we had to sweep the kitchen floor when we arrived and also wipe the counter top. The stopper in the bathtub didn't work, both bed side lights didn't work, the screen to the balcony was torn, and the carpet in the living room could use a good cleaning. Being a maintenance man at a school with 600 kids I realize that most of these issues cannot be addressed if they are not reported but in my opinion there is no excuse for the unit not being clean. The location of the condo is a plus and being my three sons first experience skiing our stay was very enjoyable.

Very, very clean, but needs some updates...
I try to be fair when giving these reviews and can only give from my point of view/needs. We are a family of four, 2 adults and an 18 year old and 14 year old.
PROs-
Very clean- probabaly one of the cleanest places we have stayed away from home. Very impressed with how clean everything was. Dishes, beds, carpets, bathroom.. everything.
Location is ski in/ski out- good location makes it easy to get equipment and lift tickets the day before so you are in line before the crowd the following morning. However, the long stretch before the property entrance is no fun with equipment and no momentum.
Free property shuttle- was helpful in getting around town.
Service- very timely. We had an issue with the sofa bed and it was tended to that day. The booking staff was amazing and on top of every question I had.
Temperature- stayed warm with out heater on. The fireplace was plenty.
Onsote washing machines with change machine- on 3 floors so they were never all full. Bring your own detergent.
CONs-
Mattresses are terrible on both beds. The sofa bed is better off putting mattress directly on the floor. We called the office and they sent a matress foam topper quickly, but it was pretty useless because the framework and mattress gape in the middle. The mattress in the master does the same. Need replacement, no way around it.
Electrical updates- some of the plugs are old and dont hold chargers (behind sofa and by bed). Makes it hard to charge your phone nearby.
Before booking, ask if they have updated the mattresses. If they have, you are good to go!

Great locale and reliably clean
We've stayed at Trail End a few times now and it's proximity to town and lifts make it a fantastic location. As a family of three the units are sufficiently large. Our unit this time had a wobbly dining room table and we couldn't get the fireplace to work, but those were minor issues. We'll be coming back.

Great location!!!!
Loved the location most, underground garage was wonderful too. Perfect size for three people. It was nice to have a full kitchen and living room. The management was eager to please, came over quickly to fix the fireplace and bring extra towels. They could have explained the doors and keys a little more. You have a key for the garage but you only need it to get back into the garage after entering the lobby. The key took a little adjustment to make it work. The only bad thing was the mattress, it needs a topper or to be replaced. Definitely recommend this place.
