It's advertised as near the sea, it's a two mile walk not good for anyone with disability. Breakfast was awful. The dining room practically empty but we were stuffed in a corner with two adults and child. Won't be going back.

Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Perfect for a stopover and pleased with separate proper beds for the kids. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening. The service was excellent. The waitress went above and beyond to accommodate our large group sorting us out with our own area and even sorting us out with another meal when a member of the group ordered the wrong meal. Great restaurant and rooms in a brilliant location just a few minutes from the beach .

Took the payment before arrival at property (opted for payment at property for the higher rate, which was the amount taken) when asked why, they did not respond to the messages. The service and room was really great and can't fault them. Overall was a good experience.

Room-only for one night. Check-in was friendly and helpful, and it was good to see that the rooms were in a separate building to the pub, with plenty of parking. The room was basic and a little tired but spacious and quiet enough. The double bed was comfortable and the towels were nice and thick, but what let the whole experience down was a lack of the most basic requirement of any overnight accommodation: cleanliness. There were jet black hairs in the bath, sink and toilet, as well as the tops of skirting boards. The bathroom air vent had not been wiped in ages (obvious to a tall guest), the toilet had not been descaled, and even the chrome taps had not been polished with a towel, which takes just seconds to do. I normally leave good reviews and don't like to look for negatives, but in this case, I cannot recommend the Lobster Pot as cleanliness is the most basic and easy-to-meet requirement of any hotel stay. And one other thing that is most bizarre - the only hanging rail in the room has a shelf unit so close underneath it that even a shirt or blouse has to be draped over the front of the shelving, let alone a dress or suit ...somebody wasn't thinking when they positioned those units one over the other - they were clearly designed to go in separate places!

we liked everything about the property, the room, the meals, easy parking and lovely staff. we stayed at the lobster pot ad we were going to watch a band play at the bridlington spa on the thurs eve of our stay. the reception staff fixed us up with a taxi company so we didnt have to worry about driving ourselves to and from the spa. yes, very happy with the lobster pot, and marston inns in general.
