Location great, noise not so great
The house itself was absolutely lovely, very spacious and an excellent position. It was very well fitted out and had everything we needed. Very comfortable lounge area.
Downside of being so close to the main street was the noises quite early in the morning (street sweeper/cleaner/leaf blower about 7.45am). And just in case you're looking for them, the controls for the electric blankets in the "bunk room" are in the drawer in the cupboard (we weren't told about them, we had to go and ask!!).
The beds were firm, which is good if you like firm, but for our family they were a little too firm (so we put one of the spare doonas on the bed under the sheet which made it a little softer!!).
It really was a lovely place to stay but I probably won't pick this property again because we've stayed at quieter places with more comfortable beds, but they are not as close in town.
