Great hotel but two easy fixes.

Great all around. Staff is super nice and friendly. Very attentive. Two things I would fix. 1) air conditioning is not strong enough. 2) Allegra restaurant closed two days in a row can create instance where guests staying for two nights cannot eat there AND also closed on same nights as neighboring restaurants. Makes no sense.

High End Comfort

By far my favorite place I have ever stayed. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The hotel was immaculate and felt so high end. From the attention to detail in the room, to the attentiveness of the staff, to the Michelin star restaurant located IN THE HOTEL. Make sure to set your alarm because you will not want to miss out on breakfast either. The town is small and has a strong feel of community. It is located amongst about 600 wineries in the area.

Breakfast was a bit slow. We asked for a product they were out from the buffet and they had a backlog of other req quests before they were able to get to us. However, it was handled with the best of intentions.

This hotel is elegantly decorated , we felt such a peace there … It has a restaurant, Allegar , that has Michelin stars ! The service at the restaurant and at the hotel was outstanding . As soon as we arrived, we felt right at home , like Javier and María , the owners wish that people feel in their Alma de Hotel . Javier came to meet us and showed the facilities in detail , along with stories of its transformation . The location of the hotel is excellent to make it a base to visit Museo Vivanco , Haro , Logroño… Stay in this hotel and enjoy it’s atmosphere 💝

A jewel in La Rioja

This amazing property located in the midst of the medieval town of Briones is a hidden jewel. Composed by a 16 room boutique hotel built within a catalogued building which has a 1000 year wall inside it, was conceived by a savvy architect and interior designer who looked after every single detail, from the lay-out of the suites to an exquisite taste throughout the lounge-bar-restaurant. To all this magnificent infrastructure, you get a flawless service rendered by a fully committed staff. This place is a must when visiting La Rioja
