A delightful, comfortable, split-level home with a good-sized native garden, outside deck area. It is in a fabulous position with a bus stop (Snapper and Bimba St) right outside the premises. Its central position means there is no need to bring a car and you will be guaranteed exercise! The Island now boasts 50c bus fares making this an ideal property to stay on if going car-less. The bus picks you up at the ferry terminal. It is 10 minutes walking distance to the spectacular Point Lookout Gorge Walk , Bobs Grocery Store, shops, cafes, the Stradbroke Beach Hotel and most importantly the Gelati shop! Cylinder Beach (patrolled) and Deadman’s and Frenchman’s (unpatrolled) beaches are also within 10 minutes.
The house is set back from the main road and in a lovely quiet area. There is covered onsite parking for one car.
Entry level has a King bedroom with two-way bathroom and a laundry which has a top load washing machine and clothes dryer.
On the next level is the kitchen, living and entertaining area opening onto the covered deck with BBQ and courtyard.
The top floor has 2 bedrooms, one queen sized bedroom and then two king singles in the other. It also has a second bathroom and a second lounge with two double sized pull-out futon beds.
All bookings include a full linen pack with beds made on arrival for your convenience.
This is a very cosy, homey place in one of the best, most convenient locations on the Island.

Location was good for a walk up the hill for a coffee and walk around the gorges. On the main road but not noisey. Very well equipped, we diidn't need to bring as much as we did. 3 level townhouse, the back yard was limited.Not really good for a 1 year old, we bought our own safety gates.We would definitely do it again.

Tchoomooroo - The Perfect Getaway
The property is perfect for a family. 3 levels and two living rooms allows space for everyone throughout the holiday.Location to beach, foodstore, cafe and newly opened restaurant is fabulous. Upstairs does get a little warm, so an additional fan for cooling would be good. The perfect accommodation for a relaxed beach holiday.
We had a great few days stay and loved North Stradbroke Island. The property was in a good position and could walk everywhere. Was very well equipped with everything you needed.

Really!
Firstly, the site photos are misleading leaving one to believe the unit has water views when in fact, it does not.
Secondly, the unit was not as clean as it should be. Windows, rear deck and bbq all dirty. Crockery, glassware and utensils substandard cleanliness. Washing machine did not work; clogged lint filter. Clothes dryer dirty lint filter. Front and rear yard maintenance very poor.
And to top it off, fire alarms went off at 1am of our last night for no apparent reason!
Great property, spacious but poorly maintained.
We loved Straddie so much, we decided to stay a few more days and went to much better accommodation nearby.

Great Holiday Rental
Highly recommended. The property is clean and spacious with all the amenities you’d need - even though we were here for work I wouldn’t hesitate to re book for a holiday. Minjerribah, and Point Lookout in particular are amazing and staying here felt like a home away from home. Thank you to the owners and property managers.

Great bang for buck!
The after-hours check-in process was very easy to follow with the given instructions communicated by Ray White. Although located on the main road, it was very peaceful on its elevated block and the location made it very easy to get anywhere on the island with the bus stop only 20m away. Foodworks and the famous Cylinder Beach only a 10minute walk away. The house was equipped with a moveable aircon unit, for those hot days.
