The room was spotless. All staff were courteous and helpful. The pools that hugged the stunning curved building design meant I could move in and out of the sun as I pleased while remaining in the pool. I would like to suggest a designated over 18s pool so adults retreating from their children on their holiday can swim without young children jumping in and splashing them while they are trying to enjoy a cocktail and some quiet time. I also noted a very limited breakfast menu and no buffet option which typically offers a wide variety to choose from.

One of the best hotels in Brisbane. No buffet breakfast is a little disappointing. I would give in room dining a miss too. Location, facilities and hotel condition is truly five star. We had an enjoyable stay.

The Star is amazing, the Receptionist was very nice and helpful, we left our car with the concierge, and the car was waiting for us next morning without us having to make a phone call very impressive, breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful and attentive, our room was amazing,clean with great Air conditioning so many features to take in on opening the door curtains opened and lights came on. Staff friendly and all in all the Star is a ten out of ten, we are planning our next stay already.

Room service very slow 1 hour for a coffee and had to chase, check out line rediculous, parking ticket incorrect date when validated so couldn’t get out without calling someone
