My two sons and loved this place. This property is exactly as described on the tin. Close to everything you need for a great holiday. Everything it has works. It has no air-conditioning, but this is Straddie. Open the shutter windows, turn on the fans and use the natural ocean breeze. It was hot and humid during our stay. So why no 5 stars?
The garage was too small for our Ford Ranger but there was plenty of parking on the street.
The TV has wonky reception which can be easily fixed by twiddling with the aerial into the TV. It keeps recurring but is easily fixed each time.
Renovations on another unit meant we needed to keep the blinds shut on one side of the unit.
But the biggest drawback is the house next door called "Reflections at Point Lookout". It is quite the party house. It accommodates "12" but my estimate was several times higher at the height of the party. The music was good and it eventually settled down at a sort of reasonable hour (Would not be great for small children - language/lateness/loudness). This unit would be perfect outside of the summer months for your North Stradbroke adventure.
