Staff were all very efficient and helpful. Room was very nice with a great view over the Bristol Channel. Breakfast buffet was good, cooked food in particular being excellent.

This is the only real hotel option for Clevedon. Breakfast and service is very good. We had an “Executive Sea View” room which had been recently refurbished. It was clean but very poorly lit. The bathroom refurb left a lot to be desired with the shower still over a high sided bath and the toiletries shelf at the opposite end to the sink. The hotel is located in a great position overlooking the Severn estuary and close to the upmarket Hill Road area of Clevedon which boasts amongst much else one of the best Chinese restaurants in the West Country in our view. In summary an okay hotel with good staff and much greater potential.

We stayed at the hotel for one night for an event so didnt see much of it. However Erika on the front desk was friendly and gave us the information needed. Reception wasnt open between 11 and 7 and access is through a door a few metres away. The room was basic, with good hot drink options and a small double. Shower temperature was luke warm due to the toiletries shelf blocking the shower handle from turning to a higher heat so that wasnt great but resolvable if a maintance person can move the shelf. Overall it was nice stay with parking onsite.

Beautiful traditional hotel situated on the coast overlooking the Bristol Channel. The room was very nice. Clean and comfy. The building is a bit dated in some areas and the floors creak a bit, but it's still a lovely place. An on-site bar is open until 11pm and has beautiful views out of large windows also. The breakfast was excellent also. Lots of choice. Polite and attentive staff throughout also. Hotel is within easy walking distance of Clevedon's pier and town centre also. The hotel has a large car park which always has plenty of space too. Very happy with our stay.

Wonderful views

Lovely hotel. Staff very helpful on reception- I needed to change a room to a more accessible one for my parents and it was no trouble for the receptionist. I’d also forgotten my toothbrush and toothpaste but they had disposable ones at reception Food was very nice. Great views across the Severn estuary

Spacious rooms, but poor service and no WIFI

We stayed at the Best Western Walton Park Hotel before an early flight from Bristol. The hotel phoned ahead to advise that the doors are locked at 22:00, which was proactive. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. We arrived at 22:45 and, despite giving our arrival time, it took some time for staff to appear and check us in. The key card to our room didn’t work, and reception was unmanned when we returned. The phone at the desk only gave an automated “reception closed” message. After walking the building, I eventually found a member of staff in the kitchens who was able to help. The room was spacious and relatively clean, but Wi-Fi was extremely poor. With virtually no phone signal in the building, this was a real issue. Sleep was cut short when guests sat talking on sofas placed in the corridor outside our room — an odd and disruptive choice of location. Overall, while the hotel has some positives, the poor service, lack of connectivity, and noise meant I wouldn’t stay again.

There were two items on the floor left by the previous occupiers of the room, not good. The was not a bedside light on one side of the bed. It was very noisy woke my husband up at 2.30am , when I mentioned this when cheeking out I was told that there are often weddings on a Saturday since we were not part of the wedding we should have had a room away from noise.

No one on reception at check in. Rang phone on desk twice - nobody answered. Found them chatting down the corridor. Hotel really out dated and needs new no squeaking floor boards throughout. World’s slowest lift doors. Breakfast good though.
