We stay here multiple times a year and usually its quite pleasant hence going back. But this time; the outside hot tub was freezing, the TV in the room was broken (remote worked but slow to no response from TV) and no welcome cookie! All just a bit disappointing. Food in the restaurant was nice though.

Scored high on the usual cleanliness and staffing ratings however rated down overall because: 1. Our quality of sleep was awful. The pillows werenā€™t our cup of tea which we understand is different for all but the banging and clanging noises all night near our room were irritating. Yes we turned the A/C off in case it was that. 2. Ā£10 to park your car at a hotel youā€™ve already paid quite a lot of money to stay at is daylight robbery. We were luckily going out so could leave our car elsewhere.

Lovely stay

It was a lovely hospital. Sadly our heating didnt work but the receptionists was so lovely she managed to provide us with extra duvet. Marcos restaurant was do lovely. Staff were so nice.

Very disappointing stay!!

My room was located on the lower floor (zero) and there was no heating or tv working in the room - I contacted reception who said I could have moved rooms if I wanted to but they didnā€™t have any ! (Pointless offer) they offered to bring a heater but the tv would not be looked at until the following day. When I asked about my discount I was told I needed to go to reception and register my card before they would put my order through to the kitchen, so I did this. I went to reception the following night to settle my bill so I could leave early the next morning and asked about my Jet2 discount that we are eligible for at all Hilton properties (due to the amount of business we place with Hilton hotels) I was told I would need to see the receptionist on shift the next morning as she did not know how to process it. In the morning there was a note pushed under the door which said my credit card had been declined and I needed to contact reception, when I enquired the payment had gone through and when I asked to settle my food & parking costs I again mentioned my discount and was told ā€˜you only get it when booked by jet2 directly! I disagreed and said I always pay separately for food, parking and drinks which is also settled on a jet2 company credit card and still get the discount, but she refused to do anything further so I paid and took my receipt and left! My receipt for my accommodation was for Ā£232.40 but Ā£278.00 has been taken from my company card! Not impressed at all!!

Had a fantastic experience, the staff were nothing but impeccable and the overall stay was excellent! The pool & facilities there were great! The restaurant options was handy to have and of decent quality with MPW. Main negatives were lack of hand towels - seemed to be a shortage in the hotel as other people having this issue. Also doors weren't insulated too well as could hear lots of noise in corridors at night and early morning. The parking fee is also a joke for hotel guests - this should be either free or very good value. 4 nights equalling Ā£40 is a bit of a joke. Overall though, had a really good experience despite being slightly worried with others feedback. Service though was perfect!

Nice hotel but needs updating , dining area very dark. Bar toilets smell every time door is opened and they are in the middle of the bar , with seats looking right in .

Beautiful on the outside, average on the inside. The bathroom was dated, bed not overly comfortable and whilst access to the pool & sauna is included, it's very frustrating to not have direct access from the hotel. You have to walk out of the hotel and through the grounds - on a sunny day I'm sure it's fine but not in the winter.

When I booked this hotel I had reviewed a number of properties at a similar price. I chose this one based on details of the spa, pool, and photos. On arrival I was disappointed to find the room was in a corridor with a normal door which meant it was quite noisy. The bathroom was small and the shower was into a bath but the shower head was so close to the wall and the water jet so weak that it meant being stood on the curve of the bath almost lent on the wall. I actually slipped due to the closeness of the bath to the wall. When my wife and I went to the spa we found the pool and indoor jacuzzi, sauna and steam room completely inundated. We went to the outside jacuzzi only to find the water temperate was cool and certainly not a hot tub. Giving that up we went for showers in the spa to find again that the water temperature didnā€™t get anything more than Luke warm. We booked dinner in the Italian restaurant and despite arriving at the booking time and ordering quickly we had to wait for nearly an hour before the food arrived. I had the Steak Frites but although the rest of the food was hot the steak was just about warm enough to eat. It was all quite disappointing. I travel a lot and use a lot of hotels and this was one I wouldnā€™t use again.
