Heaps of homely , very dated (70s) decor and memorabilia, great deep bath tub, good aircon, firm beds, piles of kitchen equipment, everything you would need to live for weeks. Quiet part of town except for noisy next door dogs.

The cottage was very homely and had everything we needed for our three night stay. It was located in a good area and the owner was lovely to communicate with. The beds were super comfortable!

Good house in a convenient position

Pros: Not a hotel, a house. Very quiet , clean and convenient.. We enjoyed our own company there and could go out to restaurants and events with others.
Cons: Foxtel on the TV
Location: Quiet street but with easy access to infrastructure
The service from the owner was very personal and we enjoyed our stay, which I think was more pleasant then a hotel, as there were not lots of other folk with noisey children disturbing our time at the Capon Cottage

Cons: Internet is a must for most people and to include this in the nightly fee would be a benefit
Location: Shopping centre within walking distance for most people - less than 10 minutes
Caporn Cottage is a very homely stay stocked full of personal memorabilia. For the price we would have liked internet to be included and or a dishwasher.

The cost of connecting internet to just one cottage (unlike a motel with multiple rooms) would not be viable without an increase in the nightly rate. Re dishwater - because we are regularly on water restrictions &, living in the outback as we do we are very aware of water usage, the small amount of dishes guests usually generate while on holidays would incur more water used in a dishwater than if they are hand washed as required. Dishwashers are water efficient only if run with full loads, not just a few items.
