Room in need of maintenance. Shower leaking over floor, hand basin plug not functioning, lighting in bathroom and bedroom needed overhaul. Totally inadequate. We have stayed here before and it had been ok. Classic cooked breakfast poor, bacon and black pudding looked and tasted like it had been cooked before and reheated. Fried egg was borderline edible. Green Dragon suited us geography but unlikely to return unless major improvements take place.

Good nights but awful service from the management.

When I arrived I was greeted by friendly and informative staff. My room was very dated and in need of decoration. My bed was excellent and I had a good nights sleep after a very early start and a long day. In the morning I was woken up by a loud dripping coming from my en suite. As i entered the en suite I found it was flooded and there was water running from the ceiling and my things in the room were soaked. I had a very busy day ahead of me and was in need of a shower and shave before my appointments. When I mentioned this to a member of the management team I was informed there was nothing they could do for me and I had to wait until a room became available for me to use. I asked if they had a process to cover these situations and was asked “ What do you expect us to do?” They did not care and my experience of their customer service in difficult situations was poor. They did not care about my situation and I had to leave with a soaked toiletries bag, no shave and shower. This was about the worst service I have received in my time at hotels. For the price I don’t expect to be treated this way.

“Totally chaotic experience. Very little communication between staff and customers, tables left uncleared, and the rooms extremely noisy. Parking is also tricky on weekends. I had no hot water for three nights despite staff being made aware, and the food was inedible.”

We stayed for 2 nights , but have another night booked next week, ideal for our purpose , a family visit , disappointed the milk in our room was 12 days out of date , but that was easily replaceable, looking forward to our next visit

Excellent service and comfy bed.

Very comfy bed and excellent service. Breakfast was very filling and well priced. An issue with hot water, however Ruby sorted in good time.

The property is an old coaching Inn full of character, with easy parking close to your room, located in pleasant quiet village. The room was excellent clean, quiet and comfortable and located in an out building across the courtyard from the pub. I enjoyed an excellent evening meal in the pub from their extensive menu. Following a good night's sleep enjoyed a hearty breakfast also served in the pub. All the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. I will certainly use this property again and highly recommend.

Check in speedy but friendly..Food very good didnt have all the choices but it was early evening on Sunday so had been busy. Breakfast very good and great for the price. Staff friendly and welcoming. Would deffo stay here again!

Long wait to check in. Window was glued shut and when I advised them they said they were aware of the problem. It was a hot day and night and no fans available so a very uncomfortable night. Meal in restaurant was poor. Parts of my meal inedible.
