The hotel was doing renovations so there were construction noises earlier in the morning. The shower and bathroom were small but functional. The bed was on a boxspring but on the floor. Very basic property, room was clean, shower was great. It is located in a kind of a sketchy alley but there were no issues during our stay. It just didn’t look attractive. The main issue for us was that the hotel was under renovation and there was a lot of noise and banging and the stairs were blocked but the elevators worked. Even though it is very close to a lot of fast food restaurants and shops, it is a good 25 minute one way walk to Grand Place and all the good restaurants and patios. It was an ok place. No frills whatsoever like TV or coffee maker. Just the bare bones.

The hotel was lovely. I liked the Bohemia shic style of the place and the history of the building. The bed was the most comfortable beds that we have slept on! And the pool and the garden are were beautiful. The breakfast is extra but has a great selection. We really enjoyed our stay!
