Needs updating. No sound proofing between rooms.

After a 24 hour journey from Australia we were hoping for a decent nights sleep. Not to be. Rooms have absolutely no sound proofing and our neighbours talked till about 3 a.m. Central heating kicked in at 4:55 a.m and the radiator banged mercilessly due to air locks. The next night a wedding was going on and guests decided to party all night. And so on until we finally got a nights sleep on the 5th night. Night 6, the boiler decides to go into meltdown and was hammering so badly that we had to move to a different block (thanks to the kind lady on reception). Night 4 involved a full family row going on next door when one of the guests wanders back to her room and hammers on the door for 15 minutes trying to wake her husband at 1:30 a.m. He wasn't pleased. Neither were we when this resulted in a full scale domestic for the next hour. And of course our lovely radiator wake up call greeted us as usual at 4:55 a.m. Do not stay at this hotel unless you are deaf or prepared to party all night with intoxicated wedding guests. P.S Carpets were very badly stained and rooms were way out of date and drastic need of a revamp. But staff were very nice. If we hadn't paid already via Wotif I would have refused to pay the full price. Won't book through Wotif again.
