The Space:
Enjoy a comfortable stay in this private studio apartment, complete with its own entrance, spacious parking, and a quiet, cozy vibe. The studio features a queen bed, couch and chair, a kitchenette for light meals, and a walk-in shower. A coat room and three interior doors separate the studio from the main house, offering added privacy and quiet.
Please note: we observe quiet hours from 10 PM to 6 AM. While we do our best to maintain a peaceful environment, you may occasionally hear gentle daytime sounds from our two small children in the main house.
From April through November, a nearby creek (irrigation ditch) flows gently around the apartment, creating a soothing background of running water—perfect for relaxing.
Guest Access:
Parking is free and with ample space for up to two parked in vehicles or one large vehicle with a trailer. The neighborhood is quiet with lots of wildlife.
The Neighborhood:
Located on the west side of Buena Vista (closer to the mountains), this neighborhood is heavily treed with some of the oldest trees in Buena Vista. Large, old willow trees and cottonwoods fill the house lots with creeks and water ditches running through the properties.
Getting Around:
The studio apartment has its own free parking space that will fit up to two vechicles parked in, or a large vechicle with a trailer. In Buena Vista, turn onto West Main, at the light and then turn right onto James Street. Drive down to the brown house with long roof lines, solar panels, a round drive way with a large willow tree out front. The long driveway parking for the studio apartment is on the far side of the house, the north, on the other side of the garage.
Other Things to Note:
We have two small children so you will hear them if you are outside or have open windows and they are outside.
Interaction with Guests:
There are three doors and a coat room between the studio apartment and the main house. We have two small children and you will hear them if we are outside and you are outside and/or have your windows open. Otherwise, the apartment is quiet and serene.
