CASA ANA: Very quiet with garden and pool to relax

It is a quiet one storey villa with lots of light and panoramic windows in the village of Seville, Burguillos, just 25 minutes drive to the beautiful Andalusian capital.

The villa is located in the heart of the village with all amenities. Burguillos has about 6.000 inhabitants, and therefore, it has all the services at its disposal, including many bars and restaurants that can be walked from the house, which is located right in the center of the village.

It offers a veranda and a large green garden, which is covered with natural grass, with a nice private swimming pool, away from any neighbours' prying eyes, for cooling down on hot summer days, with fruit trees (grapes, oranges, plums or pears will be available for you) and an ecological kitchen garden, sun loungers, barbecue, tables and chairs to enjoy meals outdoors.

Although It is close to the bustling and cultural city of Seville, It is a perfect choice for a beautiful holiday full of rest and relaxation after long walking tours.

The villa is fully furnished and well equipped. It has a spacious living room and dining room. The living room includes a large screen TV and international channels and there is free WIFI throughout the entire property.

Buses are available every day to the capital.

Ana fue una anfitriona maravillosa! Nos recibió con vino, frutas frescas y algunas compras por que llegábamos noche! La casa tenía olor a perfume lo cual me hizo sentir bienvenida y como me mi propio hogar. Todo muy limpio y acogedor. La gente del pueblo muy amable. Recomiendo El mesón de Cristóbal cerca de la parada del bus- por cierto, el transporte fácil de entender y tomar hacia Sevilla en caso que no manejen. Les va a encantar!

Great villa

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Ana. Ana was great with communication. The villa was extremely clean and looked nicer than the photos. It had everything you needed to cook. The pool and garden are the highlight of the property. The children enjoyed the inflatables. Unless you want to stay in the villa you need a car to explore. It's a 30 minute drive to central Sevilla. Burguillos is a small quiet town with a few cafes, bars and supermarkets. There are a couple of park that our children enjoyed. We would definitely recommend Casa Ana and are hopeful we can return soon.

A lovely oasis

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Casa Ana. It is a lovely spacious house with a beautiful garden and pool. There are several shaded seating areas in the garden and it is a wonderful place to relax after a busy, hot day out. Seville is a 30 mins drive and Jerez and Cordoba are close enough for a longer trip. Communication with Ana was first class and we very much appreciated the food and drink supplies she provided. Thank you Ana!

Wonderful garden

The standout feature of Casa Ana is the very private garden, which is perfect for enjoying the summer warmth, both in and out of the sun. The jasmine-scented pergola is excellent as a lunch spot. The pair of magnificent palm trees deserve to be a tourist attraction in their own right. The house itself is on a quiet street – aside from dog barks, church bells, and sounds from the nextdoor school – and roller blinds on the windows keep it cool although a tad dark inside. The three bedrooms are small, sharing a single bathroom. There’s an additional shower and toilet in the outside utility room adjacent to the terrace – plus a washing machine. The house also has a PV system, which gets a big thumbs-up from us. The living room has a large flatscreen TV with soundbar, and Netflix streaming was glitch-free thanks to the decent WiFi inside (and outside) the house. The kitchen is compact, but adequately equipped, and with an efficient oven. Some additional baking trays, bowls and utensils wouldn’t go amiss. We appreciated the generous ‘welcome pack’, which included wine and a selection of fruit and vegetables. Of the two supermarkets in town, Dia was the best. With regards to eating out, we’d recommend Pizza Genuino, which creates Romana-type pizzas; non-meat eaters receive short shrift elsewhere, at least locally. Ana, the owner, was an excellent host, and readily contactable via a WhatsApp message.

Immaculately clean! Wonderfully stocked with many new grocery food & beverage to get us started!

This property is updated, well cared for and exceptionally clean. There are heat and air conditioning wall units in each room for perfect temperature comfort. As international travel weary as we were, it was a blessing to find virtually all the basic grocery items we could need to get started including both food & beverage. I don't know that everyone should expect this (Perhaps because we rented for 8 days). A couple of streaming services logged in and ready to go was wonderful too. A second toilet/sink/mirror/shower in small pool house worked great as I let the ladies get ready inside. Also a washer in pool house. Spiral stairs up to large rooftop space with clothes drying line. Although cold and rainy I still managed to jump in the pool once! I did not meet Ana in person but we had good communication via VRBO & commonly used international messaging app (Won't name or review may be removed). Property is about a 30 minute drive north of Sevilla which was perfectly fine. To conclude, it is clear Ana has been doing this for a while...and she is good at it. I would indeed stay again. :)

Quiet (mostly) and pleasant location

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa Ana. It was scrupulously clean and pleasant throughout, and Ana was a considerate and helpful host. The pool was perfect for cooling off in the 25c to 35c weather, and just big enough to swim short lengths. The terrace and garden were charming, with several shady places to sit out of the direct sunlight. A pleasant breeze was almost constant, which took the edge off all but the highest heat. One thing to be aware of is that during late September it is the Pilgrimage of the Virgen del Rosario, Burguillos. This is celebrated with bell ringing from the church opposite Casa Ana, and 5 to 10 rockets being let off nearby between about 8PM and 8:30PM. When heard from across the town they sound like fireworks, but when in the garden of Casa Ana they're directly overhead and extremely loud. Café Bar Centro De Dia is a good breakfast place, especially if you're looking for something like toast and coffee. Mesón El Abuelo is a short walk from Casa Ana, and sitting outside for lunch was a definite pleasure. Be warned though that the opening/closing times for restaurants in Google Maps are not always accurate, and the restaurants themselves have a relaxed attitude on timing too. Casa Ana has two wifi networks (one in the house and one in the garden). The house wifi is not particularly good - OK for browsing/streaming, but not quite enough for video calls/conferences. This probably isn't a problem for anyone there on holiday, but if you plan/need

Lovely oasis in quiet town.

Perfect week in great property. Close to other properties but not overlooked. Beautiful pool and garden area. Well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable beds, immaculately clean. Lovely villa, in a town with a pool

We thought we were looking for the impossible when we searched for something near Seville, with a garden and pool, in a town and enough room forseveral generations from 8 month old baby to 87 year old great-granma. This is perfect! Beautifully clean, well-equipped and the many shady seating areas in the garden were very welcome. We cannot recommend this villa highly enough. The owner(?) Ana was really easy to deal with and extremely helpful, leaving us a welcome food parcel and suggesting local restaurants to eat at and places to visit too. One of the best we have ever been to.

Peaceful oasis

The house was exactly as described and the pictures are good. The booking was easy and it’s c30minutes from Seville airport. An easy drive (but do check the map carefully since there is a key right turn just after the roundabout in Burguillos). For us the garden was the perfect spot warm sheltered and really peaceful while the house would be a welcome retreat when it gets too hot outside.

Little piece of paradise

We had a fabulous stay at Casa Ana, with the garden and beautiful pool being the highlight. Absolutely gorgeous, especially after a day's sightseeing. Thoroughly recommend this place for a holiday, good selection of restaurants to walk to too so very relaxing break.

Gorgeous, relaxing break very near to Seville

Our family of four stayed here in october/ november and were very lucky to have such warm weather. However, it meant we spent most of our time lounging around in the stunning garden. The pictures don't do it justice. The villa was big, clean and very comfortable and tastefully done out. Would highly recommend this property and would certainly book it again. Thanks Ana!

Fantastic Holiday at Casa Ana

Everything about Casa Ana was perfect. Ana provided all the information we needed for arrival and was very helpful and flexible about our arrival time. The welcome selection of food and drinks provided was a nice touch and much appreciated. Ana also provided plenty of information about things to do in the local area and in Seville. The whole experience was very pleasant and smooth. The outside space is just perfect and very private and we spent many hours relaxing in the sun and cooling off in the pool. Whatever time of day, there are areas where you can get out of the sun if you want. The lighting in the garden also means that it is possible to swim at night, and it was certainly warm enough to do so while we were there. The terrace room with shower/toilet is really convenient when using the pool. The house was immaculately clean and very well equipped with air conditioning in the living area and all bedrooms. With the weather being so hot we spent very little time in the house but it is very comfortable with everything you could need. Burguillos is a good location for visiting Seville and close to motorways for venturing further afield, but a car is essential. The town is quiet with good facilities. We enjoyed a wonderful week in Andalucia and I would highly recommend Casa Ana as the perfect place to stay to relax and unwind between visits to all the wonderful places within driving distance.

Lovely relaxing property away from hustle and bustle of Seville

Fabulous property from booking through to leaving fantastic communication. Property better than described air con in all bedrooms very welcome. Pool fantastic but very deep in all areas (just something to be aware of with little ones). My 11 yr old was ok could touch bottom but a strong swimmer so fine. Highly recommend the property if you want the best of both worlds - close enough to lots of attractions to keep us busy for 2 weeks. Coast easily accessible for a day trip.

Beautiful outdoor space and comfortable villa

I can agree with another comment, we have for the last 10 years booked villa's and this is one of the best. Clean and well oppointed with effective and quiet air conditioning in every room. Wifi fast and efficient both indoors and out. Plenty of seating for dining and sitting in the shade. Burguillos is a short drive from Sevilla airport and not difficult to find. Ana and her husband greeted us on our arrival and were kind enough to leave us with some provisions, which was much appreciated. In our two weeks saying at Villa Ana we visited Carmona (highly recommended) a sleepy but picturesque ancient town about 30mins drive away. We had a lovely lunch there at Bar Goya, with a clear gluten free menu. The centre of Sevilla is about 40mins drive, you can take the bus from Burguillos but we drove and parked on the outskirts. We would recommend if planning to visit the main sights; such as the Alcazar pre-booking is essential as we found all attractions very very busy. We also managed to visit Cadiz (again highly recommend) but is about 2hrs away and the Tio Pepe Bodegas tour at Jerez de la Frontera. All in all a wonderful holiday, a great base to explore a beautiful area of Spain. Thank you Ana for your hospitality.

Beautiful villa a short drive from Seville

We chose this property because we wanted to be close enough to Seville to explore the city and take in the sights both day and night, but also have a peaceful base where we could relax. Casa Ana fit the bill perfectly being an easy 30 minute commute to Seville and situated in the centre of small town with a number of bars, restaurants and shops to enhance your stay. The villa was beautiful both inside and out with everything you would expect of a home away from home. The small selection of groceries and wine on arrival was a lovely touch and Ana provided excellent communication both before and during our stay. We would have no hesitation recommending Casa Ana to anyone visiting the area who, like us, wants to combine the hustle and bustle of Seville with a little peace and quiet to relax.

Perfect break

Casa Ana is every bit as good as it looks in the pictures. We arrived to find the house and garden in immaculate shape and had a really relaxing and peaceful week. Plenty of shops and supermarkets nearby with amazing local ingredients meant lots of delicious dinners in the garden looking out over the pool. Great mix of sun and shade in the garden and house nice and cool even in the heat. Seville only a short trip away. Real attention to detail from the owner to ensure that everything we needed was easily available and seamless communication. Would not hesitate to book again.

This is a very beautiful house, which is ideal for young children. The huge garden consists of a tiled terrace, and a gated staircase leads to the garden and pool. Thus, there is a large but safe outdoor space for children to be in. Additionally, the area is quiet and safe with a very local breakfast place, fruit & veg shop, supermarket and bars.

A home from home

Although the photographs here show how attractive the villa is, they don't convey how comfortable and homely it is, or what a great host the owner is. She made us feel very welcome from the moment we met her, provided us with lots of useful advice, and generously stocked with fridge with provisions, including two bottles of wine. We wanted for nothing. The villa is blissfully tranquil and private, and the village is quiet and charming, with plenty of local bars and restaurants to enjoy. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay. Next time, we will. Of the dozen or so private holiday rentals we've stayed in over the last 10 years, Casa Ana has been our favourite. Thanks Ana!
