Amaroo: derived from the meaning of 'Beautiful Place', which is the perfect description of this newly built, high-spec property in the heart of Yallingup.

Perfectly positioned in a quiet parkland area which kangaroos frequently visit. Guests of this home will enjoy from its proximity to Dunsborough and various nearby beach choices. Just a short drive of 10 minutes by car to Yallingup Beach or Geographe Bay or a little bit longer to the beautiful beaches of Eagle Bay - you are spoilt for choice.

With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms Amaroo is a great retreat for a couples getaway or a smaller families looking to enjoy all things luxury.

Arriving at the property you will note the landscaped gardens thoughtfully laid out with native bush and plants leading you to the front door. Entering into the home you will see a cozy lounge to the right, complete with Smart TV and a comfy sofa for you to settle down for the evening. The impressive open plan living, dining and kitchen area is a talking point with the large Marri trunk erected through the middle of the room. The owners have taken great care and detail on the design of this house, incorporating the different materials used throughout including the huge brick fireplace for you to enjoy during the cooler months. Curl up on the beautiful leather sofas with your favourite glass of wine from one of the many local wineries. The kitchen has been designed and fully integrated with all the modern appliances you will need for your stay, including the all important coffee machines. Choose from either the European drip style or the standard Nespresso compatible pod machine. Cook up a storm in the kitchen after a busy day exploring or perhaps you prefer to take to the good old BBQ located in the alfresco area. Either way, your taste buds will be well looked after with the well-stocked appliances provided.

Just off from the main living area you will find the Master King bedroom with plush furnishings and state of the art TV and sound system. There are sliding doors allowing the cool breeze to flow in. The impressive walk in robe has been designed so you feel at home and can safely secure your belongings with safety deposit boxes. The ensuite is complete with a retro but modern tile feature in the large open shower area and his & hers sinks. The Master room also has a study space with desk and chair should you need to utilise this during your trip.

Back through the main living area and out to the left hand wing of the property is where you will find the further 2 bedrooms, main bathroom, separate WC and laundry room. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with a built in wardrobe, sliding doors leading outside again and an impressive ensuite with bath and separate shower. You are spoilt for choice!

The garage houses a table tennis set for family entertainment.

Bedroom 3 is an impressive space to the front of the property. Housing a Queen bed, built-in wardrobes, desk space a sofa bed for 2 more guests and again, the sliding doors leading out to the garden side of the property this time. The sofa bed is not made-up. we will leave linen for the sofa bed in the cupboard.

Amaroo has had nothing but detailed thought and consideration gone into every aspect of the house to ensure the guests have a wonderful, first-class experience with amenities such as ducted aircon through the whole property, double glazing & hammocks to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and high tech speakers to enjoy some background music with.  We hope you will enjoy and appreciate it as much as we do! The property is especially suitable for winters with double glazing, heated towel rails and underfloor heating in the bathrooms as well as a nice fireplace and modern and well-functioning aircon.

Firewood is provided for the fireplace during the winter months. If you require firewood at other times of the year, it can be purchased at local service stations and hardware stores.

Although Amaroo will allow one dog per booking, please note the property is not fully fenced. Animals are not permitted on furniture.

School Leavers: We do not accept any school leavers bookings at any time of the year.

Exclusive Escapes wishes you an enjoyable vacation but we also ask for you to show consideration to the neighbours with respect to noise, especially after the hours of 10pm. This house is situated in a quiet residential area. Please be aware that outdoor music is not permitted at any time of day, and that loud or noisy gatherings will not be tolerated with respect to the neighbouring properties.

Council regulations allow holiday homes to be rented for accommodation purposes only and not as a function venue e.g. for a party or wedding. Functions and gatherings are not permitted and, if evidenced will be closed down immediately.

Beautiful property
Lovely property which was a perfect getaway for our family. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need and more. Only two things I could have wanted if I was to live there would be full length hanging in the master robe and a few more trees out the back between the neighbour, but definitely not a big deal by any means. Would have been nice to have a garage remote provided. We loved being a little out of town but may not suit everyone. Loved the hammocks, the seperate living (perhaps a larger couch?), the kangaroos and peace and quiet. Also very comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent property
This property was extremely clean and well-appointed. The location was perfect, close to amenities but in a quiet area. We stayed in a family of 4 adults and 3 kids, and the space was comfortable for everyone. We forgot our keys and locked ourselves out on a Sunday, but the property managers seamlessly arranged for our re-entry into the property on the same day. This was much appreciated.

Kangaroos in the garden!
We stayed for a week in April. Very well equipped and very thoughtful interior design. We needed the heating on at times and had no issues. There is an electric BBQ outside too. Good technology, decent WI-FI, Sonos, Smart TVs etc. In terms of location it’s about a 10 minute drive to Dunsborough (decent sized Cole’s supermarket and Bottle shop) and less to the start of Caves road and the drive to the wineries etc. The location itself is reasonably remote, there are neighbours but not too close by. There are a lot of wild kangaroos in the area and they congregate on the property at dawn and dusk. The children loved seeing them, the only downside is the large quantities of kangaroos scat everywhere on the property grounds which sort of renders any exploring to a minimum. This didn’t really bother us in the end. Also given the location the star gazing was top notch!

Christmas with the kangaroos!
We stayed at Amaroo for just over 2 weeks over Christmas and had an amazing time! The property is ideally located within a short drive from Dunsborough as well as excellent Yallingup wineries, Wild Hop brewery and Commonage Coffee. The house is beautifully furnished in a modern country style with a brilliant, well equipped kitchen (perfect for cooking Christmas lunch!) and cosy log fire. A great spot for nature lovers with kangaroos on the front lawn and even the alfresco area as well as some great nature trails nearby. An excellent place to stay!
